Why have Locker next year when Canfield can be handed to us this year? Canfield is statistically superior to Jake in most categories. That is why I can see us forgoing a QB easy til the mid rounds this year. You have some nice QBs coming out of all the major conferences this year: SEC, Pac-10, Big Ten, Big 12, etc.

If we must take a QB late, Canfield is a good choice.

Getting tired of typing the same thing so I'll just copy and paste links to previous posts:

"Pro Style Offense" is such a loose term these days

Canfield really struggled today. He and Skelton really hurt themselves the most I think

Well I don't know which one he prefers, and I think it's a bit silly to base on one draft on who you might draft the following year.

I don't know why we keep saying let's just go for Locker next year.

All that said, Bradford showed his freshman year that he could dominate in a "pro style offene" and he showed he could dominate in the OU spread offense as well.

Under the Huskies' spread offense, Locker was slightly above average. It was until this year that he finally started to get it...under a "pro style offense"

I'll take Bradford over Locker eight days a week

Locker is just the flavor of the minute because he's not a candidate to be drafted right now.

If we are waiting till next year for a QB my vote is for Matt Barkley

He's going to be a true sophomore next year..not for another 2 years, until he's eligible

In the long run perhaps. Next year? Not likely. Snead needs work on some basic fundamentals. I think he can correct some of his errors but I wouldn't be comfortable at this point throwing him into the starting lineup on opening day 2010.

Snead had a strong weekend but it's just the combine. We (I) shouldn't get too carried away quite yet. Neither with him or Robinson.

Snead would probably be my #2 choice at QB behind Bradford at 1 and Clausen at 1A. Although Snead is climbing for me, 'cause someone here's gotta show him some love! But I wouldn't take him before round 4 (maybe late round 3)

Barkley won't be eligible for the draft next year.
