Here's another thing that terrifies me about Sam Bradford. Whenever I watch him sit back in that spread offense, comfortably in the shotgun with no pass rush, one name comes to mind, Alex Smith. I want someone who's comfortable and effective in both under center and in shotgun formations.

This kid is nothing special.. I have never liked this guy and I think it would be a terrible pick up if we drafted him. You have got to work on getting this offensive line straight before drafting a QB. Trade the picks and grab some more draft picks. Maybe McCoy falls or something and we can take him. I'd rather Bradford, McCoy etc.. than Clausen in this draft if we had to go QB. What is there to like about this guy and what did he prove so well in college that he deserves a 4th pick??OK, if you think so. Others have a more informed opinion:

I'd say looking at the chart in the article that Clausen stacks up pretty good against the junior seasons of current NFL elite QBs and a couple of recent high picks.

And what's more impressive, he did it with "small" hands

I saw that to. The thing that I didn't like though was that it was only based on the junior years of guys that went on to have much better senior campaigns. Big Ben is the only one of those QB's that came out after his junior season. But yeah the small hands thing is a little ridiculous.

Why Locker over Bradford?

Why Locker over Bradford?

Because that means we get Okung and convinces the draft a QB crowd that we'll still get a franchise QB. It's a change up from the draft Tony Pike in the 4th argument. Those bastards have no intention of us drafting Locker next year :FIREdevil Still Locker is basically the white Michael Vick. Strong arm, amazing runner, average accuracy.

Watch Bradford as a freshman in 2007. He was under center a lot.

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally someone that knows what they are talking about. Clausen comes from a pro style offense and spent a lot of time under center. It's really a no brainer for the Skins to take him at #4. I hope like hell the Rams take Bradford at #1, so we don't have to worry about drafting this glass doll!

Bradford played in a pro style offense in 2007 and managed a 123 Pro QB Rating with 36 TD's and 8 INT's. I'm sorry but your friend is wrong about Bradford, at least as it relates to him under center. Part of the reason scouts were comfortable projecting Bradford as the #1 pick last year was from that experience and production he had while playing under center.

Why have Locker next year when Canfield can be handed to us this year? Canfield is statistically superior to Jake in most categories. That is why I can see us forgoing a QB easy til the mid rounds this year. You have some nice QBs coming out of all the major conferences this year: SEC, Pac-10, Big Ten, Big 12, etc.
