Rolle at Free Safety, and Landry at SS. I like that idea. I think Rolle would understand what it would mean to play the Free spot in DC... Sean and Antrel were apparently very close friends.

WHAT? Landry is terrible! We would trade him but we couldn't even get a 4th for him. He wouldn't start on half the teams in the league!!!!


I don't that signing him alone would add up to many more victories but I wouldn't be upset with it.

Sounds great, Vinny! I think that improving the current Super Bowl Champion and a conference opponent is a great idea. Let's throw in a 2nd and 6th too so they don't shop around...

Someone give me one team that he wouldn't start immediately on. In fact he would probably be the starting FS or SS on almost every team in the league.

He'd like to have you believe that, but judging by some of his conjectures about what happened to ST in the days right after his death, it leads me to believe that they weren't that close at all.

Has anyone heard if we are going to sign Levi Jones. I cant immagine that we wont, with nobody available in free agency.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic because some of the things that I have read in these forums portray Landry as barely worth a roster spot.

You sound surprised. I mean would you let the best guard in the league hit the open market? Especiallly after you're hand cuffed by the uncapped free agency rules for playoff teams, or at least teams that got past round 1.

No, not at all surprised. Just...doggone it. He would have looked good in B&G.

I also won't be surprised if the Pats retain Nick Kaczur but I still will say, "Doggone."

I'm holding my hopes for the Nick Mangold-for-Reed Doughty trade.
