Meanwhile, a league source tells us that the Redskins are out. For most of the first half hour of free agency, G.M. Bruce Allen was communicating with persons other than Peppers' agent, Bruce Carey.

Sounds like Allen wasn't as interested as people thought he was about Peppers. Looks like he's talking to someone else right now.. If true, a smart move to conceal your targets and let the media talk..

Does this mean Dansby is def not coming to DC?

Not necessarily, just that making one or two big moves is not the priority. I had thought we'd go hard after Dansby but that's changed

Who's been telling you for a week now that Peppers wasn't a priority for the Skins?

This is not the same old Redskins team any more. It appears the Redskins are not telling every media outlet their plans anymore . Maybe they are taking a page from the New England Patriots. We do have a plan and its not build a team through free agents.

I think Dansby was more likely to sign w/ the Tuna, or I mean the Dolphuna's, anyway. I suspect Parcells can convince just about anyone he's building a winner.

Great call to merge this monster. Glad to see the Skins not doing what they've always done.
