I am seeing some quality players getting let go across the league. If we went for a shotgun approach with pieces that make sense this year instead of reaching for the stars, I will be happy.

I am very happy with everything the team has done so far. This has such a different feel of any of the recent free agent periods.

I agree. It helps to feel that we're being run by professionals.

Hopefully Rolle will sign here, and it would be cool to have Rolle playing the spot where his childhood friend ST played. Rolle would help LL get back to playing well in his natural position kind of like Taylor. I wish we could get rid of Rogers and sign Robinson.

Apparently Dunta Robinson is leaning toward the ATL

Door's not totally closed on Sproles, but very very unlikely of course. Rumors of Tomlinson now. Not sure what to make of that. But here's a name to consider...Justin Fargas

I hadn't thought of him but he is intriguing.

Hmm, Seahawks seem as a favorite to land Peppers?

Seahawks could be favorite to land Peppers - Inside the Bears (http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2010/03/seahawks_could_be_favorite_to.html)

I hope that happens. I don't think it is a good idea to break the bank for someone who wants to be a 3-4 linebacker but has no track record.

I agree, but lets also remember every FO up till now has been shackled but the sins of the previous ones due to the Salary Cap. This is a new start, a clean slate, this FO has every opportunity to build and live up to their potential. I am hopeful going forward.

What if 5 years from now we look back and celebrate the uncapped year and salary purge as the rebirth of the Burgandy and Gold....

<tearing up> lol

Charles Grant was released by New Orleans, he could be a 3-4 DE IMO.

I haven't heard much about him lately but he was a pretty good player. Wonder why he was released?

Except that Real Madrid is more successful than we are. :)

Not lately. Well recently they started to get back on track but they've been relatively mediocre since 2002. At least by their standards.
