If healthy I would definitely take Parker over LJ. At this point LJ is a 3 yards and a cloud of dust runner. I like the idea of having a home run hitter as a change of pace guy in the backfield. Spiller would be insane.

I don't think Parker is nearly the home run hitter he was 4 or 5 years ago. As far as being an NFL RB, all Parker ever really had was speed. Not much of a blocker or a receiver, never seemed to have great vision either.

And yeah, I would LOVE to see Spiller in B&G.

??? Why?

I think he wants to get rid of Campbell no matter what.

Getting back to Quinn though, I think it's safe to say that right now I'd be very uncomfortable with him as our best option as a starting QB.

2009 Scouting Report - Scouts Inc.
Grade: 65 | Key

Comment: He has a strong, well-defined body and good overall strength, but his arm strength is just average and he doesn't drive the ball deep downfield. Quinn has the makeup of a smart, game-managing quarterback, but that has yet to be proven at this point. He isn't enough of a risk-taker at this point and can be reluctant to let the deep ball fly. What is disturbing is that Quinn really isn't very accurate. He also doesn't move within the pocket all that well, despite being an above-average athlete. But, when the play breaks down, he can scramble to buy time or get yardage as a ball carrier. The jury is still out on this player, but there certainly is upside here.

Personally I feel like Clausen is a much better prospect especially given that Clausen was much more willing to let the deep ball fly. On top of that Clausen was much more accurate completing 68% of his passes, comparatively Quinn completed 61% of his passes his senior year and 64% his junior year. Only advantage Quinn has over Clausen right now is that we can get him on the cheap, however I would still much rather get Bradford above all else. Heres to hoping the Rams trade for Michael Vick.

Probably not but he's still got more speed than LJ.

Hell, let's just sign them both and have a 3 headed monster!

I am not a huge JC fan, but I would take him over Quinn any Sunday. It's just a gut feeling about him, but to be nice, I dislike Quinn as a football player. There is no trade scenario I could see taking him and dumping JC.

To add to my reply to Smoot, there is a trade scenario I would take but it would involve a first round pick coming this way and nothing but Campbell going theirs.

I see. Your response had me thinking you were upset that it wasn't a one for one deal. Like you were hoping that had gone through

Why not? LJ can be the short-yardage power back

Why not, it would be a shrewd move regardless. From a perceived value perspective all three are at the bottom so they all have something to play for. We would be getting LJ and Parker with small contracts.

Competition brings out the best in players.

I still think a tailback should be drafted.

I totally forgot about LJ being on the market...I was against bringing him here when he was cut...more open now especially when whats left is Slow Willie and Brian Concussbrook...LT I would be up in the air, but refer LJ to whats left.........
