I agree that he has done bad things in the past. But he seems to have gotten his act together. And he played some pretty good ball with the Cards, good ball that he could have played for us.
yeah i hear that, i am not saying he would'nt be an upgrade to our atrocious o-line. he would. i am happy to have him here to play for us, he just needs to act like a grown adult.

in the last year, thats true. but acting like a drunken idiot at a restaurant and pointing a gun at a stripper? classy. those are the kinds of guys we need under this new regime.
Shaking a bottle of champange, popping the cork, and the getting everyone else may be considered stupid, but to claim that he was drunk while doing it is ludicrous becuase he hadn't even consumed the alcohol.
BTW, they dropped the charges against him for the restaurant incident. Charges dismissed against Washington Redskins offensive Lineman Jeremy Bridges - ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4222671)
And he does hold himself accountable:

the one or two times i watched the Cards last season Bridges was nothing more then a human turn- style. im not sure why people want him here. haven't we seen enough of that around here already?

Does he want to play for the redskins or does he want a big payday?
I think it's more the big payday. But I think the Skins have to move Rogers first (which I'm not even sure is a priority of theirs)
By the way, I think Bridges is a long shot to return.

Smootsmack, could you rank for me the FA's that are most likely to come here to the least likely to come here, that have been mentioned on this thread.

I can't. It's just not as clear this year. And with the new rules it makes it especially tough.
I may have a better idea by Thursday
Right now I would say one of the Chargers RB-most probably Darren Sproles-could be a Redskin by Saturday
Peppers isn't likely
Robinson I really don't know
Dansby has a lot of options and I'm not sure he really wants to play here.
Then you have guys like Weigmann, Hamilton who can be signed later
They may also go after Anthony Schlegel (LB-formerly of the Bengals I think). He played for Haslett in the UFL

A front 7 with the likes of Haynesworth, Orakpo, and Peppers? Ouch
you have that and you also have the giants
who knows what circumstances might bring
I'm aware of the injuries, but still

Wait, I am confused, and think you are being sarcastic here because in another thread you said this:

idk he's been very erratic lately lol

Why not go after Peppers ... last time I checked the guy is a BEAST ... it's going to be uncapped .. Jack kent Cooke didn't have a CAP and we WON ... HTTR
Sign Peppers and Dansby .. I want to see them both in HD @ Fed Ex this fallthose that hate us will mention that 2 of our SBs occurred in "special" years

Cornelius might as well start packing.
I don't mind the move. Despite his age, he plays the run well and is a good guy to run a rotation with.
why cornelius?
