If Suh is there when we pick, we find someone to ransom him off too. As a player, he is a luxury at one of the few positions we are set. As trade bait, he is gold waiting to be cashed in.

I wouldn't mind picking him either if we go to a 3-4. If we didn't need a whole new offensive line he and Taylor Mays would be my choice. Well at least right now.

I mean the thing w/ Suh is it all depends whether he can dominate as NT in the 3-4 since we'll see it a fair bit. I sorta think back to last year w/ BJ Raji. Understandably injury held him back but in general he found it hard to adjust to the 3-4. Very hard to say if Suh would make an immediate impact.

I also doubt Haslett would stay in a 4-3 base just because we got Suh. We got awesome dline play last year, especially when Griff was 100%. Coming up we had Jarmon coming into his own possibly at LDE and Alexander progressing as a rotation lineman. Haslett is forcing the 3-4 regardless of personnel is my feeling so again everything depends about Suh's ability in the 3-4.

I think Suh and McCoy would be good 3-4 DEs. I think we should pick up Jamal Williams for a year or two, and maybe pick up Dan Williams (329 lbs) from Tennessee or Cam Thomas (330 lbs) from UNC; they seem to have the physique to be 3-4 NTs.

I don't know...I kind of prefer handing our pick card to the commissioner before he has even finished announcing the pick before ours. Who needs to use our allotted time to see if another team is interested in trading up.

After releasing Griffin, I wouldn't really say we're "set" at DT. Montgomery and Golston aren't exactly studs by any means. If we're fully committed to a switch to a 3-4, we're going to need some flux with D-lineman. I wonder how Suh would be as a 3-4 DE? My gut is that he's best suited as a 4-3 DT.

I don't know these dudes offhand but the defensive scheme change is pretty important...so ya know I guess I'll look em up :)

I think Suh would be a DE in the 3-4 as well and I like Williams too. Can we really afford to sign Williams and use a pick on a NT?

Well, I think Williams is in the tail end of his career, and I think BA could get a good deal done there. I think right now he's the top UFA NT available, and we need players that have 3-4 experience.

I saw them during the combine on the NFLN, and the pundits were talking about these guys fitting well in the 3-4 at NT.
