Interesting I don't see the Rams making this trade and taking Bradford it will be one or the other.

Interesting I don't see the Rams making this trade and taking Bradford it will be one or the other.Depends on the draft pick compensation. If they end up giving up this year's second rounder in the deal, I doubt they'll be spending both of their top 60 picks on QBs. Some guys might, Devaney will not.

You know what trade would be really interesting for both teams? No. 1 pick to Philly for the No. 24 pick, McNabb, and DE Victor Abiamiri. Rams would still be in position to pick a quarterback early in the draft and add another impact player, would get a mediocre defensive end to play opposite Long, and McNabb to be the starter there in 2010.

Would be interesting no doubt but Philly doesn't really roll that way historically...can't remember the last time they traded into the top 5. For one thing that's a franchise that almost always stays $30+ million under the cap. They win cheap!!!

So who do you project that Philly would take with the #1 pick?

Wish we could learn to win cheap. One way to do that is draft linemen in the upper rounds then get a QB in the mid level rounds. I still think we should go for the likes of Lefevour, Pike, Kafka, and even give Sean Canfield a look. Joe Elliot from Purdue would be definitely available in the later rounds.

Would be nice to win cheap though. Gives you lots of wiggle room for contingency FA acquisitions.

Since the Redskins are a big market team, I don't think they will have to worry about winning cheap if revenue sharing goes out the door. However, if we keep up the free spending, you can expect the cost of going to a game isn't going to fall anytime soon.
