Honestly, I wouldn't be all that surprised if Kelly isn't on the roster come the fall. Seems like some teams have been asking about him and he might be thrown in to help make a deal happen.
I think that on a team like the Giants Kelly could make his mark sooner than later, not that that's where we'd deal him, but they seem to do well. If we need to deal him to get something and bring in a Bryant or something fine, but I think that he just needs the chance to shine. He may not have done a lot yet, but you don't hear negatives about him either. He could end up being what Lloyd was SUPPOSED to be.

What about Campbell and the 4th pick for the number one pick which turns into Bradford. I won't like it but just wondering what folks thought.
No thanks.

Rams' GM (and former Redskin) Billy Devaney said they're deciding between Suh, McCoy, Bradford, Clausen
they need a QB and may not have a good excuse to drop number 1 pick money on another 1st round d-lineman.. so I could see them going QB

In a way for me, that could mean us taking the best olineman in the draft leaving us to take a QB in the later rounds. Maybe the kid from Central Mich in the 2nd or even McCoy in the second. Not sold on McCoy yet, but we will see in his workouts. He has the arm and completion % was off the charts even throwing the ball 40 / 50 times a game. The kid from Central Michigan said he a good prospect, so if we do keep JC with the plan of playing until the next guy comes in then this would be a good situation for us.

Mark Schlerthe and Tedy Brushci were asked specifically Should the redskins draft a QB in the first round, and they both said NO, and that we have more pressing needs. Add that to the other people who think we shouldn't get a QB and that fact that the past few days people have been so certain that the rams will take Sam Bradford, that I just look more and more to us hopefully getting Okung.

When Mark Schlereth and Tedy Bruschi were asked on NFL Live whether the Redskins should consider a QB in the first round, Schlereth gave a resounding NO! They both agreed the Redskins had too many problems to worry about QB. He suggested O-Line.

Just wanted to point out an ironic parallel. See there was this running back out of Oklahoma that just flat out dominated at the collegiate level. Yet the problem was he had a history of injuries and we already has a great running back. Today our Free Safety is Laron Landry, the safe pick. Just saying.

Sounds about right for an o-lineman

Do you think that's the only reason for his opinion?

Peterson would be hurt badly behind our line though.
