I have a sociology degree, with a focus on criminology. When I was in college my professors wanted me to pursue a PhD in the field, but I never did partially due to a lack of strong convictions; I consider myself a relativist and most college professors hate that. I looked at some schools, UMD as a great criminology program and GW as a cool masters degree that's basically 20th century American history from a sociological prospective, but I couldn't make up my mind and I never wanted to take the GRE so I just started working instead.
Despite my nonsensical ramblings here I was a good writer back in the day, and I may still be. In the past I wrote some pieces for a couple of friends' now defunct blogs and that was enjoyable but I'm much too lazy to do that sort of thing for very long on my own.

I currently work for a large marketing company where I basically prep data files for direct mail. I work on one of our biggest accounts where I make big blue coupons that one may use on a Saturday, if you have enough time. I feel like the guy from Office Space.

Basically I can offer no help to anyone, except I may provide the occasional zinger or pop culture reference.

That is all.

I am a government attorney. As such, I have no skills.

That will be $5,720.00.

We've ALL already paid your salary...a few times!

I have a BA in English, but I hate children. So I work at a bank. Come to think of it . . . . DAMN!

MBA as well. Manage the day to day business strategy for a domestic (US) sports network.

I coordinate, develop, and manage the planning and implementation of strategies that leverage our assets in order to optimize revenue generating streams and grow the business while increasing viewer awareness and consumption. (There's that MBA!!)

In other words I have to balance the fine line between keeping our advertisers happy and the money coming in and giving the viewer what they want.

Can't get you tickets to a sporting event, can't get you a job. Can offer career advice I suppose

Why do have to lie to make yourself look cool? =)

Off topic but funny my boss just came back from the DMV and they told him he could re-register his car on-line or on the internet next time. He asked which was better and she said on-line. LOL! I nearly pissed myself.

I meant more in the terms that we actually see that you are pretty awesome at vbulletin and starting a web site. It was a bad attempt at humor.
