And I know our defense isn't the problem but these guys are good if not great players and since when is it a crime to improve your team? This would allow us to use our draft picks (which we have too few) to sure up our offense.

Yup. To keep a RFA, you tender him. If you cut him, he becomes a UFA.

I really don't know how the waiver works in the offseason, I do know that teams would have to pick up the player's original contract...so maybe teams will let Rolle pass so they can get a shot at him as a UFA?

Clark could be an option, but Schefter thinks the Steelers are going to find a way to keep him (transition tag maybe?).
