Somebody actually yelled this at Gibbs yesterday?

Wow, just blows my mind.

Like 86-year-old curses in Boston, 17 straight elections may be coincidental.
Either way, judging by the young man who yelled "Go back to NASCAR!" at the Redskins coach as he left the field yesterday, those "Joe Gibbs for President" placards at FedEx Field disappeared awfully quick.

WOW!

At least it was a young man, which I can partially understand being a young man myself who didnt have the pleasure of going through Gibbs first run here. Still though, show him some respect.

Now if you wanna yell at Brunell.....

Give the man a break...look at the injuries. He doesn't deserve that, and the more people yell it, the more he'll listen. I don't think anyone in DC wants him to leave again. Thats just a shame.

Maybe the guy was a big NASCAR fan and wants him back in the sport. We all should have yelled "go back to football" when he first left!! ;)

Maybe the guy was a packer fan... they don't actually say. Skins fans may not be so hot on Brunnell as their QB, but they definetly know who they want as their coach: Mr. Joe Gibbs.

That's one decent thing about all this: no fear that Danny is going to undermine the coach this time. Like everyone else, he's going to have to show some patience and fortitude until things turn around.

Go back to NASCAR, my ass!

:madani: (unf***enbelievable) If he really feels that way than he should just stay home or pick another team. What would possess a man to question Gibbs' coaching skills given the fact that his past records show his perserverence?

Someone should have put him or them in there place. Those who are too young to understand and appreciate this man should have their season tickets revoked and given to a lot of us who do understand and will appreciate the wins when they happen in bunches. Trying times like this separate the fake fans from the real fans. It's very easy to be a Redskin when you're winning. But losing is a whole different story.

There are so many fans that are just morons and who don't see the big picture.

We finally have a coach who understands that you need to create an atmosphere of winning, not just throw together some funky plays (Spurrier) - now relax and let the man work for Christ's sake.

No shizit Reality. You just nailed it....give the man some time as other posts have indicated previously it takes time to build the culture and get "redskins" in the mix. Also don't forget, this team has not been out of a game yet. Remember the Lavar interception for a TD vs the Panthers that turned that season around? I look for something like that to happen in the very near future.

Hang in everyone!!!! The good times are not far away!
