Sam Bradford is the next Peyton Manning

...if Peyton had a weak arm and half the football IQ :)

Ohhhh. To be honest though I'd be happy with the next Phillip Rivers. And by the way, having half of Peytons football IQ isn't an insult. To do that you would need to start with 1/49 of Peytons football IQ then work your way down.

I think we'll move up in the draft at some point, but we're going to be using the 4th overall pick on someone high on our board.

So neither Bradford nor Clausen is high on the board? I can believe that, but the FO clearly wants a new QB, yeah? Do they want to pick one in the later rounds?

Thanks for welcoming me, Mr. Goat. This is fun.

Thanks for welcoming me, Mr. Goat. This is fun.I didn't say that, as I'm sure Bradford is quite high on the board. I think he might end up being No. 1 or No. 2 on the Skins board, with Okung being the other. And I certainly wouldn't be shocked if Clausen is in the top ten on our board.

I think there's no doubt they will take a quarterback at some point. If not Bradford/Clausen/McCoy, then maybe Zac Robinson or Max Hall a lot later.

From what I have been reading on some of the Combine/draft sites, Bradford has overtaken Suh as the new #1 on the mocks. Clausen has risen also. If this trend holds til draft day, we are looking at Clausen. I think we need Okung and build the line. Most of the QBs are expected to go in the 6th or 7th. Brown from WVU had an outstanding combine, but from what I read his mental game is lacking, but they expect him to go in rounds 2-4 since he is so athletic. We can get Lefevour then, or even Stull. Kafka had a decent combine himself.

Umm, if Tebow really wows on his pro day, I think the Redskins should strongly consider trading down some spots, but not ahead Jacksonville, and grab him. IF he does well, we'd have a great athlete who gives a psychological boost and could be a great QB--he's pretty smart too.

TEBOW? why would we waste a 1st round pick on Tebow? Shanny is trying to win now and we have sooo many needs we can't afford to waste a 1 on a frekkin project..

I'd totally stay away from Tebow in the first round. I don't care if he threw the ball through a brick wall at the combine.

Little return now, but huge returns in the future, IF he shows signs that he can fix his stuff that needs fixing.
And I said they should try to trade down a few spots, just staying ahead of Jacksonville.

Bradford's likely going to be a project in his own right. After all, his coordinators have read the defense for him since forever.

Besides, Shanahan probably still believes he can coach anyone up(well, except the Brian Grieses of the world)

And if Jason Campbell is able to prevent reverting to his rookie/college mechanics(an to me, he has), then Tebow can surely do it.

I used a bunch of ifs and yet there are ignored. Why hate the word so much?
