Hell if we got a 1st and 3rd for him I'd vote for Obama in 2012.

Alright alright, keep your freaking politics out of this. :postcop: Back to the subject, I was thinking that the only way I'd be on board with drafting Bradford would be if we get a first-rounder for Campbell....or MAYBE a second-rounder. Still, if we draft Bradford without Campbell in the roster, we would probably need to find a veteran QB, and I know the there are slim pickings out there. But I wonder how would a Marc Bulger look here in Washington? CultBrennan59 02-17-2010, 12:25 AM we would never get a 1st and 3rd for him, tender him for something we would get for him like a 3rd or 4th Dirtbag59 02-17-2010, 12:28 AM :postcop: You expect people to listen to that cruddy little emoticon!! Dude if you want people to pay attention then you need to throw in something like this. http://earthhopenetwork.net/police_tank_2.jpg Or better yet: http://punditkitchen.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/political-pictures-tank-rollin-hatin-san-diego.jpg takethecake 02-17-2010, 12:28 AM Still, if we draft Bradford without Campbell in the roster, we would probably need to find a veteran QB, and I know the there are slim pickings out there. But I wonder how would a Marc Bulger look here in Washington? Or perhaps Brett Favre will decide... just kidding I'd really prefer it if campbell stayed in Washington - everyone seems to either want him out, or to just use him as a stopgap until shanny's "quarterback of the future." I know he's had his shots, but what if JC just has a monster year in 2010? Is it that implausible that he could do well in shanny's offense? I digress...Regardless of whether he plays for one year or more, I think he's too valuable to the redskins to give up right now, especially with the dearth of veteran QBs around that you mentioned. He's the only semblance of a leader we have on this offense, and I think that's overlooked a lot. Ruhskins 02-17-2010, 12:30 AM we would never get a 1st and 3rd for him, tender him for something we would get for him like a 3rd or 4th Yeah, because you'd be the one that would let the top QB FA (given the crop of FA QBs out there) walk away for just a 3rd or 4th rounder. If they do tender him that high it is obvious that they want to keep him or get a good compensation if they part ways with him. No one would be dumb enough to let him walk for such low price. Good thing you're not in charge of anything Mr. Cowboy fan. WaldSkins 02-17-2010, 12:31 AM So do you have a link on this? Or is this just speculation? He didn't say backup QB, he said franchise QB. Well then your not talking about Campbell either then. Ruhskins 02-17-2010, 12:32 AM Well then your not talking about Campbell either then. I wasn't, someone was talking about drafting a franchise QB. We're better off without him, and we'd be lucky even if we could get a 3rd or 4th round pick for him. Again your very immature for your age with the whole Cowboy thing. Ruhskins 02-17-2010, 12:58 AM We're better off without him, and we'd be lucky even if we could get a 3rd or 4th round pick for him. Again your very immature for your age with the whole Cowboy thing. Why are we better off without him, because you don't like him? Regardless of what you think of a player, you don't want to give away any player without appropriate compensation. This is the part where your obvious anti-Campbell bias is shown when you are willing to part ways with him for a 4th rounder. You're one of those fans that hates Campbell so much that you want to get rid of him no matter what. If they do tender Campbell for a 1st and 3rd, it is obvious that the team wants to keep him or they want to make sure that they get very good compensation for him. The funny thing is that you want to get rid of Campbell for a 4th rounder, yet getting a first or second for him would pretty much guaranteed that we draft your mancrush Bradford. |
