I agree that Ben is harder to take down. He is pretty good at keeping the play alive. Of course, that's a lot easier if you think the guy you're throwing to is gonna catch the ball. I think Campbell runs more effectively though.

What I wouldn't give for a sure handed, Art Monk-style receiver. Not the biggest stat monster or YAC man, just a guy that you know is gonna tatch the ball if it's catchable. If anyone knows a site that keeps good track of the "Dropped Balls" statistic, please let me know.

At the least I wish people would read a bit more before posting. So often the answers are right there. Makes you feel like you're talking to yourself sometimes with the way people post the same stuff over and over that's already been addressed, often just a few posts earlier.

Your reasoning explains why you asked the question in an earlier thread; What WP frequently discussed topics have you had enough of? Guys want to be heard, and feel if what they have to say is buried somewhere deep in a thread with more than a hundred responses they won't be. Hence we get a lot of repetition and different thread titles that basically express the same point of view and will solicit the same type response.

so a little off the topic but assuming most of us agree by now that the logical choice would be to keep Campbell for this year as our starting Qb and build the O-line and see what he could do under Shanny's regime. If that does not work then you do whatever it takes to move up and get Jake Locker in 2011 who I believe will be alot better than Bradford and Clausen and at least by then we should have a decent O-line. I really don't want Bradford Clausen or McCoy.

Y'all should read this:

Julius Peppers among few likely winners in 2010 free agent market - Don Banks - SI.com (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/don_banks/02/18/offseason/)

"It may be a situation where there are more trades, because if a club tendered a lot of guys, but now someone comes after one of them, maybe they're willing to be flexible and work with you on a trade,'' another veteran NFL general manager said. "Just because his tender is a (first) and a (third)-round pick, maybe they're willing to take less than that and be creative, and now you've got a deal. I think there's going to be a lot of that type of dialogue because of the circumstances this year.''
Yeah, kind of interested if there will be more draft day trades involving players more than before.

Yeah, not a lot of people want to read through a 40 page thread on say, the D-Line, to get info on something new from Haynesworth. They can search sure, but those long threads get jumbled up so much it's a mess.

Better for the search engines generally to have new topics as well.

Latest news this morning says that St. Louis is expected to trade for Campbell.

The eagles are expected to keep Vick on as a backup incase McNabb struggles, and lastly, the redskins look more and more likely to take Bradford....

Do you have any link, or source about St. Louis? I hadn't seen anything about that one. Would certainly be interesting to see what type of trade they worked out for him.

I've heard the Rams rumor but at this point it's not much more than speculation.
