Leonard Little? Why

Or maybe he ends up our new starting DE for our regular 4-3 D and keep Orakpo at LB. Why do people here keep saying we will go to a 3-4?.

We herd" the if's and maybe and should" but we have yet to hear that Jim saying we would go to a 3-4. He said we could be successful in both schemes which means it wouldn't matter what he picks. He hasn't used an all 3-4 D since his days with the Steelers

Why do people keep saying a 3-4. He probably feels Little could be a good situational DE in a 4-3 D or a starter to replace Daniels, who did nothing.

Lets stop assuming that we will go all 3-4. We don't have a real DE other than Carter and Orakpo but maybe we feel Orakpo 11 sacks at LB shows how good he can be and better than any LB coming in free agency to replace him .

Basically what I'm trying to say is maybe we are sticking at 4-3 for right now and we don't have a good DE other than Carter. Maybe haslett feels Orakpo is really good at LB and no other LB in free agency will be as good as Orakpo right now . Joey Porter is an A-hoe and he won't want a rematch with Levi Jones. Dansby will cost way to much . Every other LB will cause a round pick. Only good LB that would make sense that could be cheap is Adailous Thomas.

So maybe this is why we want Little so alot doesn't change but we could let Leo Little and Jermon Jarmon battle it out at the DE postion. Why would we give up a 3rd for Jarmon if we won't use him at all if we go 3-4?.

There has been no official word on changing to the 3-4, but it's safe to assume based on Haslett's past that at the very least we'll see some 3-4 looks from the D this year.

Except LL is an unrestricted free agent so we won't have to give up picks to get him. That's a big difference.

The only thing Jason Taylor ever killed was our salary cap. We've always stayed away from the extreme problem individuals and I see no reason that should change. He's not a great talent that we can't find elsewhere for the same price, so why bring in a legitimate murderer? Lets not become Dallas.

More of a hybrid of both. But we can't go 3-4 with these things to worry about.

-Andre Carter was horrible at being an OLB. He just had his best career at DE and is at his best with his hand on the dirt.

-Albert Haynesworth( does not wan't to be an full time DE).We don't wanna anger a top 3 DT who is still the best today at that position.

-We have no NT and won't be any in free agency. Even if we did what happens if our staring NT gets injured ....

-London Flecther doesn't wanna do a 3-4 I hear.( I think)or fits as one.

-New defensive scheme all around. Takes atleast a year to produce.

-No other ILB to help out Flecther right now.

I don't see us going 3-4. I see the Leo Little tho a campaign guy to replace Phillip Daniels or become good depth on good pass rushing downs. I don't see why we should go 3-4 out of a sudden but I do see some hybrid of it.

This overall should be the best defense Haslett ever had. I wouldn't mind seeing Jason Taylor come back on pass rushing downs either. I was a big fan of his .

You can play AH at any spot on a 3-4 front.

Fletcher has already said he's down with a 3-4 if the team goes to it.

"I can play in whatever defense," he said. "I feel comfortable in a 4-3, obviously. I feel comfortable in a 3-4. Whatever they want to do."

First of all, this isn't a PFT story, as in PFT didn't break any news here. All they did was link to another article.

Secondly, I think Little is very talented

Third, he should be thanking Paul Tagliabue everyday because if he had pulled that DUI homicide followed by DUI again under Goodell's watch there's no way he'd even be anywhere near a football field

And finally, just because Haslett told someone Little could still be productive is not the same as Redskins are interested in Little.

NT= Vince Wilfork possible free agent.
LL next to AH could revitilize his love for the game. Richard Seymore would also be a nice option to bring to DC if he hits the market.
