I'm expecting us to take a QB at #4 who will lead the offense, sack the opposing quarterback, write off my honeymoon as a "team building corporate off-site," select the best movies for me to go see and have a warm Pop Tart ready for me in the morning. Anything less than that and Danny Boy will see my bus patrolling his neighborhoodHoly crap, Dude! You've been "En fuego" with the witty posts within the last 24. From Skywalker/Solo to this. Impressive.

Must be a combo of Smoot's energy bars and 5-Hour Energy.

If so, why the rush?
I know right? Especially when you consider this is probably the last year a team will have to pay a top rookie pick a king's ransom.

How about this: If Colt were allowed to enter the draft this year as he is now (i.e. a two year vet who suffered an injury and has not started a game but is young and may have some potential), Where would he be drafted?
Is he a first round pick? A second round pick? etc. This is not a trade scenario but a hypothetical situation in which Colt's contract is voided and he is subject to be drafted by any team desiring to do so.
Holding the 4th pick, would you chose him over Bradford or Clausen? What about other teams, do you think anyone would spend a first rounder on him?
I think this is poor measuring stick because drafted players are always over valued compared to current NFL players.
Remember Randy Moss and i think Anthony Gonzo were traded for a 3rd round picks.
I heard John Clayton say that McNabb/Vick could be had for 3rd round picks.
I think a better question is how would you rate Colts Brennan potential to be an NFL starting QB in comparison to the current rookie crop.
I think a better question would be who is more prepared to start an NFL game?
Imo Brennan would be ahead of any rookie coming out.
At the same time i'm not making a statement about their potential or upside; just that Brennan is more ready to start a game in the NFL.
Another way to make a more valid comparison would be to compare their measureables like: arm strength, accuracy, mobility, durability, etc
