I hope he can stay on the wagon after rehab, both for his personal benefit and his career. Chico23231 02-07-2010, 12:09 PM Good for him and hopefully it will work out. MTK 02-07-2010, 12:12 PM Hope he gets straight, he's a talented young player. NYCskinfan82 02-07-2010, 12:23 PM Good look, he has lots of talent on the field. mlmdub130 02-07-2010, 12:34 PM this one never gets old YouTube - Rey Maualuga grinding on Hotty Erin Andrews (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdDGYsYXHKc) GMScud 02-07-2010, 12:59 PM Hope he gets straight, he's a talented young player. Seriously talented. Between Rey, Cushing, and Clay Matthews, I definitely didn't think Rey would be the least productive of the three USC LBs as a rookie. Maybe when he dries out we'll really see him shine. It's gotta suck to suit up and play football on Sunday with a hangover. Riggo did it pretty well though. :) All the best, Rey. 53Fan 02-07-2010, 01:00 PM I wish him well and hope he has success in his rehab. Obviously it has gone past the point of casual drinking and has brought serious consequences. With an alcoholic, there is victory in surrender. Hopefully he'll learn to let it go and find a more fulfilling life without it. He's been blessed with the talent to have a long rewarding career. Good luck Rey-Rey. I still consider him the most talented of the bunch, though it may not become apparent till he moves to the middle (assuming he commits to staying dry). itvnetop 02-07-2010, 04:54 PM Rey's got a lot of growing up to do (on and off the field). His previous arrest at SC was kept on the down low b/c the team has that much pull- he was on greek row and some frat guy was talking smack to him. Rey totally clocked the guy and when people were yelling to get the cops, he ran off yelling "I own the police!" Ask whoever watched SC football and they'd tell you this past year wasn't a surprise in how everything shook out for the three linebackers. Outsiders only watched youtube highlights before the combine when deciding Rey-Rey was the hype. |
