Realistically, though, he was primarily a special teamer and those folks always get snubbed. He's going to be eligible right at the same time as Walter Jones, Orlando Pace, and Jon Ogden, and just a bit after Willie Roaf. The hall is already overrun with OTs, and with that overload of players at the position, Samuels might even fail to be a finalist. But now that Green, Grimm, and Monk are in, he's got a better chance than anyone from the old Gibbs teams.
