Redskins sign long snapper (http://dcprosportsreport.com/articles/washington-redskins/redskins-sign-long-snapper.html)
Wonder if they have decided to go younger and cheaper from Big Red?

I was watching a Video of him on the Redskins blog and he guy has terrific accuracy on his snaps along with great technique. Don't know if the plan is to replace Albright but Sundberg looks like he has a future.

I was surprised when I read the news.. Since Albright always play good, as in snapping with accuracy and all.. But he's getting old, I guess it might be time to find new one..

I'm not sure that I understand the argument to go cheaper. It's not like the Red Snapper is pulling down the big bucks.

Don't think just cheaper, think 13 years younger! Of course, I don't think the Long snapper should be a specialty position like kicker or punter. He should be a guy who takes regular reps, and can step in at C any day of the week.
Albright was a vet min guy... so where's the cheaper angle coming from? Maybe he's just not a good tipper.

y in the world? the price savings cannot possibly be siginicant and EB is perhaps the best long snapper in football.

I'm sure this: Date of birth: May 1, 1971 (1971-05-01) (age 38) has nothing to do with it. Last I heard he was a vet min. player so it's not expense.
I think it's great they are addressing the OL even if it includes the specialty positions like long snapper.
