I am glad that the get Tebow chants have been silenced.

I'm surprised no one is talking about Zac Robinson (well, maybe just because SmootSmack isn't here). He's the one who increased his draft stock most in my eyes in this game. I would have to look at him as a possible second round pick now.

Very fluid and natural in his actions.

I like Robinson a lot, as I've mentioned earlier this fall. I'd rather have him than Skelton (so that should tell you something) but I do have some concerns about his ability to be a full time QB at the next level right now. Maybe in a couple of years. If we had a 3rd round pick, I'd like to select him there. I don't think any team should take him before round 3.

I also like Zac Robinson and I agree with what you said about him. For now, I'd like to see the Skins match any offer for JC and develop a young QB behind him. Robinson would do nicely in that role, IMHO.

That should be the plan if the Skins brain trust do not think that either Bradford or Clausen can be a franchise QB. If they do think that one of them can be a franchise QB, then they must draft that player in the first round. That's just the way it is, regardless of any other team needs.

Why intrigued by Brown so much?I thought Brown threw the ball very well in this game. His problem is that the David Greene/Chris Crane career path of sitting behind a four year starter and getting your one year to shine at the back end has never really yielded any sort of prospect at all.

As far as a No. 2 type guy in the NFL though, I think Jarrett Brown can justify a late round pick.

I have a second round grade on Robinson right now. I doubt anyone will take him that high since he's still only my 5th rated QB, and Kafka, LeFevour, and Pike are all right there.

Why intrigued by Brown so much?

I liked Brown as late round developmental QB before the Senior Bowl, in fact we had a brief discussion about him in the late round gem thread.
By all accounts he surprised some people at the Senior Bowl and has put himself on the map as far a QB prospects go.

The reasons i liked him before are virtually the same reasons i like him now:
-nice compact throwing motion it reminds me of right handed Mike Vick, almost textbook throwing motion
-above average arm strength
-above average mobility although he's not really a 'scrambler' or 'running' QB

another reason i liked him was because is so raw (only had 1 year as a starter) that he should be available in the later rounds as developmental QB, but after the Senior Bowl he's probably worked his was into a middle round pick

Looking at the Senior Bowl here are thoughts on a few players:

QB - Jarret Brown has the tools. If we don't take Clausen, he'd be a good fit in the 4th or later rounds if he slips that far.

RB - LaGarrett Blount looked good and will be a good back for a power runing team, not necessarily a good fit for our Zone scheme though.

J. Bell - Didn't like the bobble of the ball on the hit by Mays or the fumble. He better fix this before training camp for wherever he ends up. Still like him as a late rounder.

G - John Jerry - best South OL, big, physical.
C - Tennant - looked solid, but if he's gone, Olsen from ND held up better than I expected with Cody or D. Williams over him.
G/C - Byers (USC) played both G/C, had a good motor, played with good technique, a little small at 299. Got to second level and out front on a reverse well. Could be a good fit for our Zone scheme in the 7th or as UDFA.

G - Iupati is a bit over-rated and not a good fit for a Zone scheme. He's a mauler, doesn't have great feet and reaches (a lot) in pass-pro.

T - Ciron Black, Selvish Capers....pass on both.

T - Ducasse - not sold on him, but don't hate him either. He's a project and will probably take a year or two to be NFL-starter ready.

DT - Dan Williams, TN - If we're switching to a 3-4, and are working a trade down scenario, this guy would be a great anchor at NT. In a 4-3 he looked good at both the 1 & 3 technique. He'll be gone in the 1st 20 picks though, so he's highly unlikely to wind up in DC.
