Michigan DE Brandon Graham is a beast!!!! Would be a great addition to a defense who will make the transition to a 3-4! He will make a impact OLB and Orakapo on the other OLB!!! If we trade down and get multiple picks I would be thrilled to get this guy who could help anchor the haslett attack style 3-4 defense...

As far as offense I saw nothing... There are a couple of backs I could see taking in round 2 or 3! Shanahan does not care about bad seeds or prior discipline problems he wants legs... How a bout L. Blount from Oregon.

I would love to see o-line help, but the draft is not the only place to get better in that regard. I always thought that free agency is best to get o-line as you know better what you are getting and the salaries are the lowest for any positions! All o-line play in this game was bad! Iupati looked pretty bad.

Bottom line I hope QB is not where we are going with the #4 pick!!!!

Could Graham crack Top 10?

In his initial mock draft, Mel Kiper Jr. had Michigan DE Brandon Graham sliding all the way to No. 32 (the Indianapolis Colts), but he could be one of this year's big risers if recent trends are any indication.

Former NFL scout and proprietor of MovingtheSticks.com Daniel Jeremiah was down in Mobile for the Senior Bowl this week, and has been tweeting his quick thoughts on players that stick out, one way or another. For Graham, it was a positive last week: "Don't know if Vegas has a line for how many sacks Mich DE Brandon Graham will have Sat but take the over. Explosive, best rusher by far."

On Saturday, Graham turned a lot of heads, and was named the Senior Bowl MVP, with five tackles, two sacks, one TFL and a forced fumble.

Most teams will list "effective pass-rusher" somewhere on their list of needs or wants, so it's not a stretch to think that with a good combine, Graham could jump into the top 10 this April.

Mel Kiper Jr.
Graham a steal at No. 32
"Graham was a one-man show for the Wolverines, leading the nation in tackles for loss as a senior. Always in the backfield, he's a guy who can learn under master pass-rushers in Indy and build on the tradition. He's been on my Big Board all year, so a good value this late."

Told you guys. LEfevour, Kafka should be our targets for QB, with Sheehan, and Stull other possibles. Kafka got the East West Shrine game honors then Lefevour did his part in the North South game. Tebow is a very good QB and will make it in the pros, but Lefevour and Kafka have more NFL potential. They both are good on their feet and have strong arms. Lefevour is more accurate than Kafka in my opinion and the stats back that up. Kafka was a one man offense at Northwestern though, while Lefevour had a better team around him. Still I think both have some potential, more so than Bradford or McCoy.

I was listening to you until you said Tebow is a very good QB and will make it in the pro's.

I'm a huge huge florida gator fan, and Tebow is a Great COLLEGE QB, but I think the senior bowl just shows you, that he is slow at making decisions, throws very funky and slow. He will not be a good pro QB. RB or TE he would probably succeed better than he would at QB.

Also I think that we will most likely get Sam Bradford, whether you like him or not, every scout has him as a top ten pick, also there are reports now that Detroit is either getting Gerald McCoy or Russell Okung with their first pick, I believe that they should and probably will get Okung, whom I think is the only Tackle worth the 4th overall pick. Also Bradford is super accurate, your prototypical NFL QB size, speed. He has great pocket awareness which every coach likes. Lets face it, the QB class this year is pretty weak, after Clausen and Bradford, every other QB is shakey. LeFeavor just reminds me of another Campbell, and the Senior Bowl scouts said that he threw lots of wobbley balls, and relies on running first. They also said his receivers had to adjust a lot to the passes he threw. Kafka, I like him to, but he throws lots of picks and isn't exactly the tallest person on the field, he's also injury prone from what I've heard and seen. But honeslty, could you see Kafka being our starting QB next year or the year after that? Same for LeFeavor. Now Bradford, he I could see him starting from Day 1, just like matt ryan, joe flacco, mark sanchez, matt stafford. AND, keep this in mind, Shanahan got Cutler then Ryan Clady the LT, instead of getting a guy like Marcus McNeil, or trading up to get D'Brickashaw Ferguson, they waited 2 years to get a tackle, so that tells me shanahan gets the player of his position of desire over best available

For me, the senior bowl was a big downer. There were very few guys that played well in the positions that we need most. What stood out was the number of guys that played so poorly. Especially Young, Black and Mays, not to mention others like Tebow, etc.

Same here. Offensively the only guys I really liked for us were LeFeveour and Ducasse. Now Ducasse didn't dominante but I think he showed that he has a lot of room to grow and that his floor isn't nearly as low as someone from a small school like him would be. If most of the tackles are gone after the first round and we leave the first with a QB then I would love to see us give Ducasse a shot at LT.

Personally he reminds me a lot of Brandon Albert and worst comes to worst we could move him to Guard if he doesn't work out and we find someone better in a year or two, but personally I don't think that will be necessary. He's going to be a good LT for someone.

We could easily get this guy in the 2nd and have him be our starting RT, and if we doesn't work out then we can move him to guard like you said.

Only if he promises to punch Romo in the face.

Rather get Lefevour than Bradford and still high on Kafka. He only threw 7 INTs during the regular season then had a crappy bowl game with 5 INTs. Thing is Kafka was the Northwestern Offense, and playing in a defensive minded Big 10 and going 8-4 in the regular season with an average to under average team is pretty good. Jones goes in for Bradford and does rather nicely for the Sooners. In fact, thd Sooners seemed not to lose a beat. Without Kafka, Northwestern would have been lucky to post 1 or 2 wins in '09. By the way, Kafka is 6'3" 220 lbs. Not that short for the NFL. I think Tebow will make a decent pro, just not the superstar everyone had him made out to be.

I'm surprised no one is talking about Zac Robinson (well, maybe just because SmootSmack isn't here). He's the one who increased his draft stock most in my eyes in this game. I would have to look at him as a possible second round pick now.

Very fluid and natural in his actions.

I thought i mentioned Robinson, or maybe that was in another thread.
I'm a big Colt McCoy fan and Robinson seems like McCoy lite but he also seems very similiar to Colt Brennan's in skillset: decent release not a lot of pop in his arm though, i think Robinson could be had as late as round 5.

I'm still intrigued by Jarrett Brown though.
