Well said.. In fact that is exactly what I was thinking.
I was a little bit dissapointed in Rolle and Mays too, I really saw them proving themselves.
Myron Rolle wouldn't even have been a first round pick last season(before he went to Oxford as a rogue scholar) so he is going to have to put in some work to get back up to speed.
Taylor Mays to me looks like Laron. He is way to cocky after a simple tackle yet goes for the highlight hit that often misses.

One game doesn't make a career for these guys, it's hard to judge from one game. Who's to say that those that good games couldn't be a bust? You never know.
I agree with you but this thread is meant for judging the players based on their performance at the Senior Bowl.

I watched the end of the 3rd quarter and the whole 4th and from what I saw, he was going at it with a DT that looked like McCoy and it was quite the battle.

It definitley wasn't Gerald McCoy of Oklahoma, he's a Jr.

He had a couple holding calls during the game and was beat a couple times. Mayock pointed out that he's more of a grabber then puncher when blocking a defender.

In practice, yes, but I'm not talkin bout practice. Still just as Waldskins pointed out, Mayock said during the broadcast that he caught Iupati holding on 5 plays over the course of a single drive. He also got beat a few times during the game. To be honest he really isn't a great value for us unless through some act of God he lasted till the fourth round. To much of a mauler and his footwork is only average. I think the reason they tried him out at Tackle this week was because the scouts really liked the length of his arms. Personally he reminds me a lot of another Samoan mauler in Vince Manuwai, who was given similar praise (albeit less intense) to Iupati before the 2003 draft.
In the end his true value to us is having him selected before our 2nd round pick leading to someone else dropping down the draft board.
