Well Peyton has some good guys around him as well. He is the best in the game and will probably end up BOAT when his career is finished. He is a competitor that wants to win Lombardis, and not some shmuck that will just show up and make a half assed effort to try and look like he is earning an inflated paycheck. That is a problem that the SKins have, as well as most of the NFL. It is more than talent that sets Peyton apart, he is truly a student of the game and really wants Lombardis bad. So does the Colts FO.
I guess that's all the more reason to hope the Saints above help out the Saints below. May the Colts turn into dog food.

SB,
Only way Colts lose is if the first teamers get the flu or something the night before. THe Saints stumbled their way into the SB. THe Vikes practically gave them the game. Saints have played like crap since they played us with the exception of their first playoff game. It is almost like the Skins in '08. Start at 6-2 then limp down to .500 ball. They already got into the playoffs before their slump, but man they sucked in Dec-Jan.

They have the worst running game in the NFL. If everyone KNOWS you're going to pass, and STILL no one can stop you -- you've got to have a super-QB. The guy is simply amazing.
Has any other QB ever called all the offensive plays like Peyton does?
Plus mostly scrub WRs. Wayne is great but the rest are truly limited. Heck he even makes a so-so talented TE a perennial pro-bowler.

As I've said many times on here, Manning is a classless jerk. Only Peyton Manning can rub his ass on a woman and come out with a squeaky clean image. Why?
I guess he's just more proof that if you're a media darling you can do anything you want and still get the endorsements. And why is Tiger losing endorsements?

Your article is from 2003....not current and never heard about this don't you think the news would have been jumping over this like tiger woods...probably a false report by the girl, just to get attention and money. Peytons great, you seem to be the only person here on this thread that dislikes the guy who might just end up being the greatest QB of all time before its all said and done.

Yes because the media in this world in unified enough to pick and choose who they anoint and bring down. Right. Manning is a "darling" so they ignore sensational stories. Sure.

Well actually yes, all QB's used to call their own plays in the "good old days." Just guessing but the norm was that QB's called the game well into the '60s.

Peyton is no Joe Montana. Peyton owns the regular season, Montana owns the post-season.
