I would trade Landry for a bologna sandwich and an orange tic tac.
Landry for Rhodes?Player_HTTR 01-26-2010, 08:00 PM I would trade Landry for a bologna sandwich and an orange tic tac. mlmdub130 01-26-2010, 08:04 PM I would trade Landry for a bologna sandwich and an orange tic tac. orange is so overrated, and landry isn't that bad, you could easily get a club w bacon and a pack of tic tacs Ruhskins 01-26-2010, 10:19 PM orange is so overrated, and landry isn't that bad, you could easily get a club w bacon and a pack of tic tacs Orange tic tacs are solid tacklers and don't get easily beat by the double move. LOL. The Goat 01-27-2010, 12:28 AM I would trade Landry for a bologna sandwich and an orange tic tac. Best...post...EVER! rbanerjee23 01-27-2010, 12:59 AM how bout campbell for manning, now that is a trade worth talking about :) I like campbell..but i would love for this to happen Schneed10 01-27-2010, 01:02 AM I like campbell..but i would love for this to happen  djnemo65 01-27-2010, 01:24 AM Yeah, it's a dumb thread in so far as this isn't going to happen (players at the same position are virtually never traded for each other in the NFL, only recent trade I can think of off the top of my head is Coles for Moss) but the implied question, whether you would theoretically rather have Landry or Rhodes, is interesting. For me it's a no-brainer, Rhodes by a mile. For those who defend LL, if he wasn't the sixth pick in the draft would you still be talking about his potential? I mean, for all the discussion of what a big fast strong athlete he is (and I guess he jumped high at the combine or whatever) he doesn't look that fast out there to me. He looks like a guy. He gets burned, he gets run over, he misses tackles. He's just a body. Even back when ST was getting caught out of position, before he had learned Williams' defense, you could still see he was a superior athlete. I think if you didn't know that Landry had been a high draft pick you would be hard-pressed to identify him as someone with potential. Chevy13 01-27-2010, 05:00 AM  What? I agree with him :silly: terpsez11 01-27-2010, 07:51 AM the safeties work their butts off here...it's the Giants who need wholesale change at safety...they were awful NYCskinfan82 01-27-2010, 08:08 AM Yeah, it's a dumb thread in so far as this isn't going to happen (players at the same position are virtually never traded for each other in the NFL, only recent trade I can think of off the top of my head is Coles for Moss) but the implied question, whether you would theoretically rather have Landry or Rhodes, is interesting. Good post, it's only been 3yrs maybe with a more agressive DC he'll look better. |
