Gus Frerotte looked like an all pro compared to Tarvis.

Favre should never coach. He wouldn't help his backups for the past 5 or 6 seasons so why should you think he'd be able to groom young passers.
I also believe that great players make for bad coaches (Dikta being the possible exception).

imo favre helped rodgers be the player he is. you follow someone like favre you gotta pick up on his leadership and how he carries himself. no one here really knows what went on and i think rodgers just doesn't appreciate what he learned behind a legend..

idk, just watching interviews with him and what not...

i know everyone around here hates everything that comes with this guy but that has to be the gutsy play i've ever seen..he was beat up pretty bad and kept getting up. anyone see his post game conference? he looked like he had been punched in the face a few times..

The NFL and the Vikes got all the mileage out of this thing they could muster...lets face it without some hack appeals judge making an obstructionist decision about the Williams... Favre never comes back...

Didn't the great one say it was not his job to teach Rodgers when the Pack drafted Rodgers? What was better than the Vikes getting beat was it was Bretts bad throw.

I was on a work trip the week before the game and there were a couple of Favre acolytes there (one claimed to be a Bears fan?). I told them that he was way to careless with the ball in big games and that he'd throw a pick and cost them the game as usual. Just shows how much the media rides his jock that they all thought I was crazy.

I didn't need a crystal ball... Brett's 2 pick game was about par for the course.

If you want to pick a guy to win a playoff game, he should not be mentioned in the same breath as Brady, Bradshaw, Aikman, Montana, Warner, Elway, Staubach.

If you want to have a guy that will always be around, always start, always be exciting, and almost always get you to the playoffs he's your guy.

Great QB, great fun to watch, definitely an iron man, but not anywhere near top 5 all time.
