Was this gibbs decision or was it mandated by the league Redskins_P 10-29-2004, 02:49 PM This is probably the worst game for him to miss. Was this gibbs decision or was it mandated by the league It was Gibbs.... SkinsRock 10-29-2004, 03:45 PM This decision will help both Sean and the Redskins in the long run. It sends a message that if you want to play for the Redskins, you better have your sh!t together, or suffer the consequences! Yeah, it is bad timing (like there is a good timing for this), but the way the D has been playing with a lot of starters already missing, they will be fine. Kinda makes you wonder what would be happening if Spurrier was still the coach.... NY_Skinsfan 10-29-2004, 04:23 PM This decision will help both Sean and the Redskins in the long run. Did anyone happen to see the Mugshot (http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=78609) of Taylor over at extremekins...Scroll down take a look. The earings he is wearing are disturbing. I don't think he gets it yet (what being a "true" Redskin is all about). offiss 10-29-2004, 06:38 PM Good for Gibb's, I have to say I was this kid's biggest supporter from day 1, but character is another issue and he is really pushing his luck. redwagonskins 10-29-2004, 06:51 PM Those earings...well what can you say? I hope he was drunk wearing those things!! And before anybody freaks, I'm just kidding. AnonEmouse 10-30-2004, 04:40 AM My question is how likely is he to do any time? The league will almost certainly fine and suspend him (1 game I'd guess - does sitting this one out count?), but if he's smart and doesn't contest the charges, is he likely to just face a fine or do a deal like Lewis did and serve time in the post season? Daseal 10-30-2004, 09:21 AM He'll do community service and a fine while pleading to a lesser offense. They probably won't even take his license or give him a year in jail. That Guy 10-30-2004, 09:32 AM 1st offense, with a laywer, very very unlikely to get jail time... probably a big fine and some counseling/probation... |
