Has anyone brought up the fact that with 2 minutes to go, down 24-3 and on their own ~30yard line, the cowboys went for it on 4th down? If they really thought the game was already over and it was just a matter of letting the clock run out, why not just punt the ball away? Why even risk giving the vikings that kind of field position? Obviously the cowboys were still playing as if they thought they could win, with maybe the exception of Keith "We're Gonna Bust'em In The Mouth" Brooking.
Well t be fair by punting away when down by that much that would be saying we give up. I never want for my team to give up no matter how slim of a chance they have of winning a game and it was also a playoff game on top of that.

Well make up your mind. Which is it? Do you mean you're a hypocrite?
what i'm saying is it's ok for minn. to run it up on dallas but it's not ok for bill belichick and new england to run it up on joe gibbs and the redskins. i had no problem with either. most people here are happy that minn. ran it up on dallas but were bitching when it happened to us.

I don't think it would have been that big a deal if Brooking would'nt have acted like an ass on the field about it. I don't neccessarily agree with what they did but they could have kicked a surething FG if they just wanted to run the score up. They took a shot and made it. If they didn't make it, no score.. Dallas ball. As arrogant as Dallas is and the way Miles acted after every reception, I don't really blame the Vikes.
I can see both sides. I would be pissed if I was a Dallas fan, but more for the fact they got handled all day long. As for the Vikings, it's the playoffs, you go 110% until the whistle blows. Let's face, it everybody takes some joy in stomping on "America's Team". The last score was a statement more than anything else.

America's Team lives in Washington DC, the nations capital city, not Dallas. Let's just straighten this out for once and for all.

Personally, I think Minnesota was pissed at how everyone in the media had given the Cowboys a pass and pretty much wrote off the Vikings. At the post game press conference, Childress mentioned how he told his team to just shut up and let all the cowboy coranation hype go by. He also said it was hard getting 50 athletes to "stifle it" after continually hearing about these "Tasmanian devils from north texas that are just going to rip through Minnesota".
And this from Vikes DT Pat Williams:
“They overlooked us,” Pat Williams said, “and that’s fine. Basically, that’s how they ride down there. I don’t blame them, I guess. They’re young. They can be cocky. They’ve got a cocky owner, so that’s how they ride. But they came into this dome, and it was hostile for them. ”
While it may not have been the "classiest" move, I think that final TD was big giant F*** you to the media and Cowboys from a team that had to listen to a bunch of crap all week long.
