so super bowl Colts Vikes??? Anyone? I just don't see New Orleans Defense stopping Adrian Peterson or Sidney Rice, and I don't really see the OL of NO stopping Jared Allen.

Boy Norv sounds like he's about to cry at the podium right now. Must be tough. Yeah!!, I was checking him out. Poor Norv for whatever reasons he just can't seem to get his teams over the hump. He was under consideration for coach of the year until they gave the honor to Marvin Lewis. He did a little of his poor coaching at the end of the game, I thought that on-side kick was a no-no at that point in the game. 12thMan 01-17-2010, 10:09 PM Yeah!!, I was checking him out. He did a little of his poor coaching at the end of the game, I thought that on-side kick was a no-no at that point in the game. Yeah, that was a bad call. But his team just wasn't sharp either. It wasn't just that one call, they let the Jets just hang around until Greene broke that long run for a TD. A championship caliber team would have responded, they didn't. And to be fair, the Jets had some questionable play calling at the end too. It's like every year the Chargers start kind of slow, get on fire at the end and just fizzle out. I think this team has a hard time getting it up next year, I really do. I think they're in for a big let down next season. The Chiefs might be that next team in AFC West. I agree, they were sporadic to say the least, more inconsistent and unable to sustain offense than I thought they would be. You're right, they could be in for a let down in the near future with LT"s game going downhill their reign in the AFC west could be becoming short lived. I'd like to see Merriman come back east (maybe to the Skins) if he's over injuries and can stay healthy. Ruhskins 01-17-2010, 10:19 PM Yeah!!, I was checking him out. Wasn't that the reason why Marty was fired? 12thMan 01-17-2010, 10:32 PM I agree, they were sporadic to say the least, more inconsistent and unable to sustain offense than I thought they would be. I'd like to see Merriman come back east (maybe to the Skins) if he's over injuries and can stay healthy. Funny I think just the opposite of Merriman. I think he's probably going to be a 8-10 sack a year guy now. That knee injury really slowed him down. The biggest difference I've noticed about Merriman is that he's no longer the emotional leader of that defense. I wish him the best next year, but not in burgundy and gold. Wouldn't surprise me if the Chargers got rid of him though. Longtimefan 01-17-2010, 10:34 PM Wasn't that the reason why Marty was fired? What would you say, they jumped out of the frying pan into the fire? Ruhskins 01-17-2010, 10:35 PM Oh man, I just read this on Twitter... RickMaese RT @MacGregorESPN Nate Kaeding arrives home, tries to kick dog. Misses. I almost pissed my pants laughing! SFREDSKIN 01-17-2010, 10:37 PM Kaeding and Suisham should go hang out together at "The lost weekend" bar. |
