it means that LaRon goes back to SS, and I'm sure we'll bring in OJ Atogwe the FS of St. Louis

I think he blew out a knee mid-season.

Why are we even thinking about changing the defense?? I wonder whether Gray would've been a better fit. If it ain't broke, don't fix it...

Why is Haslett a good move? It seems like he's been part of average to below-average defenses in the past. And there's even talk of switching to 3-4? Continuity on the defense has been its strength for the past 4-6 years..

I mean, sure our defense gave up big plays & mental lapses, but they still were top 5-10 each year in yards, etc.

And if we blitz more w/Haslett, we're really going to leave the CB's one-on-one more.. Hope Hall learns how to tackle.. And hope Tryon/Barnes pan out.

Richard Seymour is a FA, thats a good start to building the 3-4. You put him down with AH at the other DE and draft or pick up a NT (Jamal Williams could be cut by SD) and this shaky 3-4 turns into a really good DL like That!

LB wise, Orakpo should be great as a Rush OLB we could draft another OLB in the draft like a George Selvie, Jerry Hughes, Dexter Davis, in the later rounds (2 of them should definitley be around by then) Put Rocky at MLB and Fletch at the other MLB spot (draft a MLB like maybe a Spikes or McClain if we really need to. Get OJ Atogwe from the Rams as our starting FS, and move LaRon to SS. Have a great back up like Horton at SS.

From BigHairedAristocrat in another thread:
As for Haslett, his most recent NFL defenses haven't been ranked particularly high, but few in NFL circles are going to question Haslett's defensive expertise. As interim coach in St. Louis in 2008, the Rams finished ranked 28th overall. In his six years in New Orleans, the Saints' defenses were ranked eighth, 16th, 27th, 18th, 32nd and 14th.

Why is everyone talking about O.J? He tore his knee up real bad if i'm not mistaken, he could be done.

Its not a good move, all I can figur is that Shanny and Danny couldn't lure a real D.C. away from anywhere else. He has had no success that I have seen since I have been following him (05').

Horton's a SS not FS

When he and LL started together, it worked out pretty good though... just saying
