Larry Michael interview

Meet The Coaches - Jim Haslett, Defensive Coordinator (http://blog.redskins.com/2010/02/19/meet-the-coaches-jim-haslett-defensive-coordinator/)

Says Orakpo rushed about 400 times, want to get him to about 800 rushes this season

Haynesworth, will just have to sit down and explain to him what's going to happen and whatnot, could play end or tackle (but earlier didn't commit to 3-4)

Said he thought Carter would like what they could do with him in 3-4 vs the diff situation in SF

Loves Fletcher of course

A LOT of talk about turnovers needed

biggest challenge = overlook rank, turnovers = wins.. saints as example

That justs makes me drool when I hear that

For Haslett, Nose Tackles Must Play With Guts And Grit (http://www.redskins.com/gen/articles/In_Haslett_s_3_4__Nose_Tackles_Play_With_Guts_And_ Grit_126349.jsp)

But I still can't get over this:

From BigHairedAristocrat in another thread:

Quote:
As for Haslett, his most recent NFL defenses haven't been ranked particularly high, but few in NFL circles are going to question Haslett's defensive expertise. As interim coach in St. Louis in 2008, the Rams finished ranked 28th overall. In his six years in New Orleans, the Saints' defenses were ranked eighth, 16th, 27th, 18th, 32nd and 14th.

The saving grace is Spanos

Redskins Insider - Turner takes job with Redskins (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/turner-reportedly-takes-redski.html)

I'm still waiting, and not voting in this poll.

A number 1: You can take anything i say straight to the bank. Once there, you can collect a large sum of money. All you have to do is say, "hands in the air! this is a robbery!"

B number 2: those are most certainly not my words. It must have been a quote from another source (probably Jason Reid from the Washington Post).

C number 3: salt is good for you.

Take this with a grain of salt, especially #1. :D
