I agree it's not a huge bump in the road, after all he didn't kill anyone like Leonard Little (and he's still playing!)
Still, it's disappointing to hear. He still has some growing up to do.
Matty very disappointed in you. 1st of all putting a person on the road while he is intoxicated is very dangerous. He didn't kell anybody but the potential is there. I personally do not like being on the road with people who do not have enough common sense to avoid this type of thing. Suspend him and make him pay.
I thought we drafted him not only becuase he was a great athlete but his character was good to. Go back to the press conference by Gibbs on how they asked multiple people about Taylor. Seems they might have made a mistake in judging his character.

CRT3: No one has the facts yet. He should have taken the breathalyzer, then tryed to delay as long as possible till they got back to the station to do the blood test (the one that's actually useful in court) often times if you are slightly above the legal limit you'll have sobered up by the time you get to the jail in order to do the real test. On the road breathalyzers are often inaccurate and can be battled in court.

According to SportsTalk 980 he was pulled over by Virginia State Police shortly after 2:45 am on the Beltway near the Dulles Toll Road (which is a total speed trap, always packed with cops). He failed a sobriety test, refused to take a breathalyzer. He was released this morning on $5000 bond (not sure if I have that number right). Court date set for December 1
So is he gonna play?

Why don't guys who are as rich as he is, who know they're gonna get plastered, just hire a limousine?
Hopefully next time.
Exactly. And is our team not practicing this week? Who goes out and gets drunk when you know you've got to do a bunch of running the very next day. At least they didn't find 2 lbs. of pot in the trunk or something ridiculous like that.

Drunk driving, now that's a prob. especially with Gibb's, if it was a one time incident I would say he will be ok, but it's probably just the tip of what's to come, reason I say that is this, with all his money he has to drive drunk, just plain stupid, and that kind of stupidity probably won't end there.

Matty. Imagine being 21 with Sean's contract. You'd act stupid too, I think we all would.
Come on!!! That's no excuse!!!!!

First of all, its a DUI, not a DWI - the latter being a much more serious offense.
I say Gibbs should bench the guy for this game - let Lott and Franz cash in on the INTs from Favre - there will be at least a couple.
