God, this guy is unbelievable! It's not like I've ever gotten in trouble for excess drinking. Oh yeah, never mind. :food-smil  :party-smi
Sean Taylor in drunk tankSheriff Gonna Getcha 10-28-2004, 08:54 AM God, this guy is unbelievable! It's not like I've ever gotten in trouble for excess drinking. Oh yeah, never mind. :food-smil  :party-smi Redskins_P 10-28-2004, 08:59 AM My question is: Will Gibbs let him play this Sunday? And what will the NFL do about it? PSUskinsfan11 10-28-2004, 09:29 AM Guys, you're forgetting something. He's rich. Unless you kill someone you get off the hook (hell, even if you do kill someone, right RayRay?) . Ray Ray didn't kill anyone....Can't blame ST for being wasted he was just having a good time, he's just gotta get a driver for nights like that. I pray he won't be suspended for the Cinnci game. If I go to my first N.F.L. game and ST isn't there I will be reallll let down. Defensewins 10-28-2004, 09:31 AM Drunk tank doesn't mean DWI. Let's just wait to see what happens. I have to agree with Daseal. It could also be that Sean Taylor was caught speeding at some crazy (over 100mph) rate of speed. I used to live in Northern Virginia (Cop Central) and I have never lived in a state/area that has so many police and camera/ticket devices at every intersection. It is excessive. It is one thing to say you are protecting our safety and keeping the roads safe, but in Northern Virginia's case it is all about money and writing tickets. The percentage of police writing tickets as opposed actually fighting crime is large. Here in Texas you can pass a cop on a 55mph highway at 65-70 mph and they do not pull you over. Cops here are out to stop real crimes not slow down traffic and create more traffic backups. Sorry about my rant. :offtopic: Sean Taylor is young and made a mistake. He will take care of it. I live in Northern VA, and yes it is rediculous. I'm scared to drive home after 2 beers. cpayne5 10-28-2004, 10:30 AM Why don't guys who are as rich as he is, who know they're gonna get plastered, just hire a limousine? Hopefully next time. Daseal 10-28-2004, 10:34 AM That's what I wonder, Cpayne. Hell, just get a room down the road and walk your ass there. Park there so there's no temptation to drive. I'm sure you could even get a service from the club if they know you're an athelete. That Guy 10-28-2004, 10:59 AM i live in fairfax country, and cause the crime is so low, the cops don't have much else to do... i've been watching a speed trap that's sitting on the parkway under a mile away from me for the last two months... anal, but that's how it is... north carolina is supposed to be awful too. Big C 10-28-2004, 11:04 AM drunk tank= drunk in public, underage drinking, disorderly conduct...he would be in an actuall cell if it was DWI...so im guessing drunk in public since he isnt underaged SmootSmack 10-28-2004, 11:05 AM According to SportsTalk 980 he was pulled over by Virginia State Police shortly after 2:45 am on the Beltway near the Dulles Toll Road (which is a total speed trap, always packed with cops). He failed a sobriety test, refused to take a breathalyzer. He was released this morning on $5000 bond (not sure if I have that number right). Court date set for December 1 |
