I agree with the man 110%. Yes DS has made some bad decisions but he's always did everything he could as an owner to bring the best players in here possible. As I've stated before his heart has always been in the right place. It's not if we'll win a Superbowl in the Snyder era, it's when, and how many, despite the tumultuous start.

Problem is that his best efforts more often than not hurt the organization...no one is saying he doesn't want to win.. but newsflash, how many owners are there that don't want to win so the whole "he really wants to win" argument is bogus.

Take Lloyd + Archuleta deals for example...how did those help the Redskins in any way? answer, they did not and hurt the organization deeply (still paying salary), no defense of Snyder will be tolerated by me...

makes some good points, but lets remember that this is the same guy who was having vinny go on the radio every week instead of doing his job. this is just one small example of how mindless DS can be about what it takes to have a winning football team

Have you ever wanted something so bad that you tried too hard and f' up instead of being patient and taking the proper steps?

Thankfully this is where I blame Vinny. I doubt DS sat in his cubby with a chubby and said Vinny I want this person. Go get them. To me it seems more that Vinny thought "Oh we need a WR lets go get Lloyd. Oh we need a Safety lets get Archie" and DS said do we really need them and Vinny said yes we have holes. So DS brought them in. It screams of Vinny when you hear that Vinny told Schottenheimer that DS maybe listening to him in preseason but during the regular season DS will be listening to him while in the box upstairs. It screamed of Vinny losing control of the power he had with or over DS. Then Marty fires him. At seasons end Marty wanted more control and DS got scared off by it and said no, so Marty walked. DS brought back the only person who he befriended and could trust to handle the contracts and team.... Vinny. If Vinny wasn't pulling all the strings he definitly was an enabler.

I'm glad Vinny's gone. I think Allen is a no BS type of guy. I think Shanahan is a no BS type of guy and treats all players equally. No favorites. I think DS realized the team has changed players in and out with out success, theyve traded HC's in and out with out success, The only thing that has not been changed has been the GM spot and owners spot. DS is not going to sell the team. It's a cash cow. He's making money. So the only thing that could be done was change GM's. In this situation not only has the GM been changed for fresh ideas to filter through the team but a new HC that has been to the big dance and knows what it takes. A HC that does not have the college to NFL questions, or the new kid on the block untested unproven OC or position coach.

I don't think anyone 2 yrs ago came out and said "hey DS and VC are doing it right they are picking up a no name QB coach to lead this team." I think most of us if not all had questions and wondered if it was going to work out. In this situation we know Shanahan worked out in Denver. His scheme works.

This guy sounds more drunk than I on a Saturday night. Listening to him was like trying to listen to a pep talk from my father during a 1 week drinking binge.

Seriously. This idiot was hammered and high at the same time. That was a bumbling rant.

I know. It made actual analysts seem like linguists.

So it basically takes a high/drunk moron to defend Dan Snyder lol?! Actually that sounds about right. No serious person would defend Snyder, period. Blame Vinny? Who made Vinny possible...? Snyder is the biggest failure in sports over the last decade (according to his own standard, not mine).
