SFREDSKIN talk to me!!...Tell us what you know about coach Forester. I've never heard of him but he's got a resume filled with experience. I guess if Richard Mann is signed as WR coach, the staff will be just about complete.

What is the correct spelling of this guy's name, is it Foerster or Forester?

With a name like this, time to add him to the misspelled names hall of fame with carlos rodgers and kedric gholston. LOL.

I feel like we hired this guy just to hire someone, not because we really wanted him.

I got it, it's Chris Foerster. I had seen it spelled a couple different ways, looked him up and hopefully got it right.
With the exception of Kyle Shanahan and Matt LaFleur, this coaching staff is long on experience.

The worst O-Line in the league last year was ironically the Green Bay Packers (51 sacks) followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers (50 sacks). San Fran was 11th worst (40 sacks). Either way main thing that makes me happy is the fact that Tom Cable is no longer a candidate to coach the Redskins. Oh yeah, we were 5th worst with 46 sacks.

Any particular reason for this, or just the normal redskins cynicism? I tend to be optimistic this time of year, but I think that most, if not all, of these hires show reflective thought, and not just the throw up the hands and hire someone mentality. Looking at the production each individual coach has gotten from players during their tenure, it sure seems offensively that they all have a pretty good grasp on getting the most out of the players they have been responsible for.

I have seen nothing from the recent hires to make me less optimistic. Shanny said he was going after the best, and everyone so far seems to have nice creditials. Last year we had coaches in new positions which I think was a problem and didn't really instill a lot of confidence. I can't wait to see these guys in action. Coach 'em up!

Because our first two guys we wanted didn't accept the job, and we have very little to no time before scouting in the college games like the shrine game and senior bowl starts, and this guy hasn't worked with zone blocking teams like the broncos or texans. Thats why I'm being a negative nancy.
The guy has a solid resume, simply based on his credentials seems like a move that's hard to hate on
