Does anyone think that Jim Mora Jr. would be a possible candidate to replace Jerry Gray as the secandory coach?
I doubt it since he was a D coordinator since 99.

Longtimefan 01-18-2010, 04:38 PM Screw Gray, I am more than happy he left. He insulted Zorn the way he interviewed for the position. It was clear it was just to hire Shanahan, but stiil I could never see where Jerry Gray did anything to make the players we had better, which in my opinion is what a coaches responsibility is. He had players (Landry) playing out of position, CB's playing too far off receivers and no versatility to his game plans, he played each and every team the exact same way, passive and predictable. Not because he wouldn't do a good job, but with Haslett on board we already have one former head coach serving as an assistant. Throw in a Mora plus Shanahan, and I worry about the "too many cooks in the kitchen" cliche.
