Larry Michael is Satan

I don't think anyone has embodied what the Redskins mean like Joe Bugel has. One of the all time greatest, I wish he was going out better than this.
Hail to Coach Bugel!

One of the all time greatest, I wish he was going out better than this. Hail to Coach Bugel! Dirtbag59 01-05-2010, 12:29 AM Man, I would personally love to hear this quote from Buges, even though it would be outside the scope of something he would say publicly. "You know I was just lucky to work with a lot of great personnel guys that helped me get the players I needed. Guys like Bobby Bethard, Charlie Caserly, and Bruce Allen." Daseal 01-05-2010, 12:40 AM Joe Bugel has done a lot for this franchise, but it was past his time to go. Good luck in the future, Joe. I wish you the best of health for your remaining years. SmootSmack 01-05-2010, 08:46 AM I know this is slightly off topic but who was Shannahan's line coach after Alex Gibbs left in 2003? Rick Dennison I believe MTK 01-05-2010, 08:58 AM Buges will always be the Redskins' offensive line coach. freddyg12 01-05-2010, 10:22 AM I read about Buges retiring in the wash post & the franchise wanting to do something for him. I wish he was leaving under better circumstances, but it really may be time for him to go if for no other reason than getting a fresh start for the new staff & letting him walk away before dealing w/any more drama. Great coach & a face of the franchise over the years. How many o line coaches have had his level of notoriety? Alex Gibbs is the only other one I can name. Buges will always be a redskin. I look forward to seeing him in the middle of fedex field before a standing ovation in the near future. Hopefully it will be in the midst of better times for him & our Skins. SouperMeister 01-05-2010, 10:27 AM Buges had head coaching stops in Arizona and Oakland, but he will always be remembered as a True Redskin and perhaps the greatest O-line coach ever. Monkeydad 01-05-2010, 12:09 PM Buges had head coaching stops in Arizona and Oakland, but he will always be remembered as a True Redskin and perhaps the greatest O-line coach ever. Can't say it better than this. If your time is up, Buges...thanks for the incredible memories and Lombardis. irish 01-05-2010, 12:11 PM Nobody was better on channel 4 on Monday evening with Sonny & George than Bugel. I hope he has a great retirement. 2BIG2BSKINNY 01-05-2010, 01:49 PM Buges will always be appreciated but no longer is the top of his game. Back in the game loyalty was a great vurtue which has helped Buges be the icon of the NFL when it comes to Offensive line play! Today with free agency it holds him back a little! All that said Buges is a Beast! He is up there with Joe Gibbs! Good luck to you in retierment! Thanks for what you have done for the Redskins in the past. |
