I think it's more likely that SF trades one of their Round 1 picks for Donovan McNabb. He has one year left and they're high on Kolb for some reason. The idiot fans are once again asking for Donovan to be traded and we know Vick isn't the replacement. I think they'll shop him and his expiring contract around with teams like SF, Seattle, Cleveland to see if they get a bite while they can still get something in return. If not, he'll get one more year and likely will be benched for Kolb permanently sometime in 2010 at the first stumble.

This is all lies I guess...

Won't happen
A) McNeil will be an RFA
B) If he isn't, he'll be franchised
C) Spiller is DEFINITLEY not a second round pick
D) I think we go with Okung or Bradford with the first pick. Keep in mind Shanahan got Cutler then Clady, not Clady then Cutler.

I don't think that was based on position. Cutler was his guy & likely 1st priority so he got in position to draft him. I would think the same would apply to this draft. If he likes a guy a lot he'll take him at #4.

It would make sense to me to draft the qb first (if you believe you need one) as they'll typically take longer than an o linemen to develop & start.

If Shanahan REALLY likes any of the QBs who are worth the #4 overall pick, then he should just take a QB there. There certainly aren't any tackles worth taking (okung doesn't really fit shanahan's system) at the spot. Trading down would be nice, though. Shanahan reportedly likes Tebow, and he's not worth taking anywhere near the top of the 1st round, although I think he is drafted in the first round. Ideally, iShanahan beleives he can work magic with Campbell and we can trade down in the draft and get two 1sts or a 1st and a second and draft 3 offensive linemen with our 1st 3 picks.

WOOAAAHHh!! Were did you hear that Shanahan likes tebow, cause I sure didn't hear that, and me being a florida fan, I wouldn't want tebow here.

Also you are completely wrong about Okung. He is almost a mirror image of ryan clady who shanahan drafted in his last year in denver. Also okung is a great run blocker, pass blocker and very athletic.

I think this is starting to look like the better option. And I think we have a FO competent enough to do this...the question is, will we have a trading partner?

I think Seattle might try and trade up with the 2 picks they have in the first. Carroll is not gonna want washed up Hasselbeck, so they are my favorite to trade, or SF maybe, but they seem content with Alex Smith.

Nate Davis is from my home town & I would like to see SF give him a chance next year.

Don't forget the possibility that Carroll might trade for Leinart.
