I'm also tired of hearing draft Bradford. If you watch college football at all did you not see what happened to him during the BYU game? Then playing Texas the same thing happened. His shoulder got reinjured. It takes one hit on that shoulder and its bye bye Bradford. And yes he had surgery on it but it still can be reinjured very easily just like many other injuries. Now with Jason getting absolutely killed this year with our awful O-line what will happen if Bradford stepped in? He'd be injured in no time. I like Bradford he is an excellent QB but the injured shoulder bugs me to death. I still say JC is back here next year I just don't see anyone better out there that will do a significantly better job.
I've been killing Campbell, however, you bring up a good point, who's out there to replace him? I shall study that. Just p'd me off to watch Collins come out an throw a nice completion down field on his first touch to Moss. I watch alot of football. I see other teams QBs throw completions after completions marching down the field and yell at my 52" Sony, "why can't my QB do that!!!!" Very frustrating, mind you, being a Skins fan in Giants territory.

Maybe you think so, but Bradford is legit. He would be our version of Tony Romo except an even Bigger arm. Just because he got hurt this year don't mean that he's injury prone.. A.D was hurt most of the time at OU and look at him now.. There is a reason why Sam didn't play at all this season and he is still projected as the Number 1 QB

I guess I'm in the mood to stir it up today but would you be screaming bloody murder if we were considering bringing in Joe Flacco, Carson Palmer, David Garrard or Matt Ryan? Just asking cause they've been pretty much the same QB as JC this year.
For whatever the reason we're always most critical of our own players espically when they don't perform to our expectations.
I would be in favor og moving foreward without Jason if I knew of someone that would be available to us that I would be convinced could do a better job. If we draft a youngster and start him we know what a process that's going to be. The pressure is still on to win now and I'm not so sure the fans here are ready for two or three more years of experimenting. They think there's enough talent on this team to win now if we can manage to field a formidable o-line that can pass block and get our RB's an average of 3.9 yds.

However, the D has mailed it in the last two games.

I said no as well....I'm over him. He's certainly not terrible, but I don't think he'll ever be great...he still makes rookie mistakes, I'll take the rookie instead.

I'm not sure I'm prepaired for the breakin stage, however, Sanchez has made it interesting for the Jets.
Interesting link to look at: Some surprises to me do to hype.

Since we're getting a new coach we're getting a new system. Time for a new QB. Campbell had his chance and has never lead us to a playoff. Time to go.

When I think JC, I thing of Eli Manning- their numbers are very similar and they can both win if put in the right situations i.e. with good lines, and with good offensive playmakers around them.

I'd like to see him return, because he's an easy guy to root for. And contrary to what some people who "watch the tape" will tell you, he doesn't actually struggle to read blitzes or anticipate throws. These are false statements, and let not others tell you otherwise.
With that said, it's hard to see his fortunes changing significantly while here. We could bring him back, but if we're going to get to the playoffs next year, it's going to be on the strength of the defense led by someone who isn't a clown, and with a heavy lean on a zone running game. Not the spread-shotgun system that Campbell needs to have to post top ten numbers.
It's hard to objectively say we'd lose a whole lot by moving on from Jason Campbell. The problem is that it opens up the quarterback position to bring in an interception machine that could actually prevent us from making the playoffs. Look at the Jets. With Campbell, or a Campbell equivalent on that team, they're likely the AFC East champs. Instead, they have a rookie who they hope can be the quarterback they need one day, but ultimately, it's a whole lot of hope, a lot of trust, and very little substance.
However, with prudence from the front office, this situation can be avoided.
I would trade Jason Campbell if the opportunity presented itself. But I'd still want him back. Regardless, I think he will be back, though not on a long term deal.

Who would you suggest we replace him with?
