Here is JC at the line "Green 40, Green 40 Set" O shit down goes Campbell he didn't see that corner blitz to audible the play, or Campbell steps up and throws a rocket overthrown screen pass that gets a Pick 6!!! No thanks

JC has definitely regressed in a year he should've been able to step up and show improvement. JC and the Skins need to part ways. JC is a class act and a warrior, but he will never be a successful NFL QB. He continues to make the same mistakes with his progressions, ball security, and appears lost in reading the defense. As SS mentioned he continues to make mistakes in situations when he is put in a position to have to make a play.

One of the very telling stats from MNF was that the Skins have thrown 77% of their passes within 10 yds of the LoS. This is not simply a protection issue, this is an issue of a QB who has difficulty making reads and accurate throws downfield. JC's issues are not the fault of the OL, when he has had time he still makes these mistakes.I disagree. It is mostly about lack of protection. As a result, the passing attack has been relegated to mostly 3-step drops, which will typically yield passes within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage. Very, very few QBs would be successful taking the beating that Campbell has this year. The Saints made Tom Brady look pretty ordinary a few weeks back when they hit him a dozen+ times.

He's setting career highs pretty much across the board so he's definitely improved. The improvement may not have been drastic, but considering everything that's happened around him, any sort of improvement is noteworthy IMO.

As for the short throws, I wouldn't put that all on him. The offense was scaled back to include more 3 step drops, and quicker shorter throws once the OL went to shit.

Said it before and might as well say it here too. No way. He's my number one guy to cut. He cannot decide quickly where to throw the ball unless he's already made up his mind previous to the snap. It is what it is.

Plato once said "A good decision is based on knowledge and not on numbers"-soak your feet in that for a minute

If JC played for another team and the Skins were talking about bringing him here for 2010 99% of the people on this site would be screaming bloody murder.

I guess I'm in the mood to stir it up today but would you be screaming bloody murder if we were considering bringing in Joe Flacco, Carson Palmer, David Garrard or Matt Ryan? Just asking cause they've been pretty much the same QB as JC this year.

78% of my brain disagrees with that.

Agreed. I have a creeping fear that if we let JC go, in the future we are cursing it when he beats us while playing for someone else.

You should know by now that all you have to do is blitz him. He's got lead feet and has a strong tendacy to fumble the ball!! That's the kind of quarterback that def just look for once in a while. Of course, our Def right now is a whole different topic.

I'm also tired of hearing draft Bradford. If you watch college football at all did you not see what happened to him during the BYU game? Then playing Texas the same thing happened. His shoulder got reinjured. It takes one hit on that shoulder and its bye bye Bradford. And yes he had surgery on it but it still can be reinjured very easily just like many other injuries. Now with Jason getting absolutely killed this year with our awful O-line what will happen if Bradford stepped in? He'd be injured in no time. I like Bradford he is an excellent QB but the injured shoulder bugs me to death. I still say JC is back here next year I just don't see anyone better out there that will do a significantly better job.

Flacco is way better than JC.. Jc has even more talent around him at the skill positions, except Ray Rice
