Thats the only weakness about C.Johnson and how has he panned out? LOL I Love OKUNG! He won't be there at 5 though

I wasn't really arguing against McCluster, just wondering. BTW Chris Johnson is 200 lbs. whereas McCluster is only 165. That's a big difference when you are talking about blocking. The fact is, every year dynamic scat backs come out off exciting college careers but don't make the NFL because they can't block. Hence my wonder.

I'm gonna try to make sure to watch the Central Michigan game. The more I find out about Dan Lefevour the more I like him. He handles pressure very well from what I understand.

Kid could be the next Big Ben from the MAC. Sheehan from Bowling Green deserves a honest look. Although he did throw 5 INTs against Auburn, I like Kafka still. The guy WAS the Northwestern offense.

That's the problem with lightweight RB's. trying to make the transition to the next level. They're excellent and exciting players at the college level, but the NFL is a different story and they struggle to fit in. There's more to playing the RB position in the NFL than just running, you have to be able to block also. 165-70 lb. guys are not going to block anybody in the NFL.

You're right Gus, he isn't easy to bring down and keeps his composure. Have you seen him play in person?

No, never have 53. I am a Eastern Mich alumni and they always play Central, but I couldn't catch any games because of work. You read a lot about him up here though and can catch MAC football on cable. He is a gifted QB and can make it in the NFL. He could be a first round pick, but since the Big 4 garners all the hype he might slip into the 2nd round for us. Sheehan from Bowling Green is pretty good as well, although I would probably pick Lefevour.

That's the point I'm trying to make. Thanks Lotus. Some things seem certain but at this point of the year the draft can be as unpredictable as the weather. There are usually some surprises. Does Oakland pick before us? :)

A) I agree with you all too, people shouldn't be assuming that he'll be gone by then, just look at Michael Oher last year, he was predicted to be the first tackle picked back during the bowl season, and then after combine and workouts, etc. Eugene Monroe and Jason Smith get picked before him. SO many things will change by now and draft time in April.

B) Oakland currently picks after us, but if we win tomorrow then we pick after them...theres no point at winning now, so hopefully we'll lose and get that better player. Because now we'll definitley be picking 5th, but we could be picking 4th at best overall meaning that we have an even better shot at getting Suh, McCoy, Berry, Okung, pretty much anyone you want. I know people are going to bash me for saying that I hope we lose, but theres no point at winning now with one game to go, and we should have been trying to win months ago.

Brandon Carter will be a Raider next year.

^^Carter is a tough SOB, don't think he'll fit in the Shanahan offense though.
Walter McFadden from Auburn was really good, and has NFL bloodlines which is always good.
McCluster was great
And Trahan the OLB/CB from Mississippi was always around the ball in coverage, we need more of those guys.

And from last night, every Florida Gator played/looked great(Haden, Spikes, Tebow, Pouncey twins, Dunlap, Major Wright, Amad Black, Stamper, Hernandez [don't need him though], Riley Cooper)

Cincy didn't have but two prospects and you can't really judge them from this game, since the whole team got man handled, but Mardy Gilyard is a great reciever and a even better returner, and thats saying something. Pike looked decent to me, and he didn't play stupid he played smart with the football.
Nebraskas corner Prince Nakamura looked really good
Michigan States LB Greg jones is fast and a hard hitter, could be a decent OLB
