Florida fires ZookRedskins_P 11-04-2004, 01:29 PM I have a feeling that he's coming back to the NFL...... That Guy 11-04-2004, 02:40 PM yeah, think he said no cause the NFL is still calling... cpayne5 11-04-2004, 03:25 PM I think he's waiting on Miami's job to open up. That Guy 11-04-2004, 03:31 PM pretty sure miami's job is already open... he was on the hot seat for going 10-6, now he might get 3 wins... MTK 11-04-2004, 03:42 PM good luck to him if he goes to Miami. No RB, QB or OL and alot of money tied up in the D. JoeRedskin 11-04-2004, 04:52 PM Sorry, I just don't think Spurrier will cut it in the NFL as a Head Coach. You may not have to be a workaholic but you do have to be detail oriented to some degree. It is not all about diagraming plays - It's about preparing to win and preparation did not seem to be SS's strong suit. I don't care how many great assistants you put around him, SS will always be far to lax in terms of discipline, detail, and film study to ever succeed in the NFL. I think he would make an amazing offensive coordinator though. Daseal 11-05-2004, 04:15 PM Matty. He'll have R. Williams as trade bait and a #1 pick. The kid Miami traded for out of St. Louis is a good back. ANother candidate is Larry Johnson. Oh, and I told you he wasn't going back =p |
