All I'm going to say is it's a long season.

If Brunell cared about the Redskins and had respect for the game, he would go live in China like Rickey Williams and pay back his signing bonus.

Ahhh....another Brunell vs. Ramsey thread. Thank God. (end sarcasm ;))

Portis and the defense winning the Chicago game saved Brunell's job. I have faith in Gibbs, but I would also like to see what Ramsey can do in a real NFL offense....but like others have said, he needs to "un-learn what he has learned" from Spurrier, and Gibbs must not feel like he is there yet.
With Rasby out and Baxter in, I'm curious to see what new wrinkles they throw in this week.

For those of you who just hate Brunell, I think its time for me to come out and say that I hate Ramsey. I have never thought of him as a qb for the future he is a very inconsistent qb. Whether or not he has the exp. He is a qb that will always be suspect. His drop step is very lack a dasical and has proved that he can't read defenses very well. He has shown that he will commit to a certain route and throw blind at times instead of checking down. I do believe that he has been ruined by Spurrier and just may never adjust to a solid system, whomever is his coach. Until he proves to me that he is able to adjust to defenses, put some touch on the ball, then I can by into him as a solid qb.

Hey... I like Dire Straights. In fact, Mark Knopfler would be better at QB than me. He even has a good QB name. Knopfler. Knopfler. Sounds rugged. I bet he has a strong arm from all that guitar playing, and he can read defenses like sheet music. Twistin' by the pool...

No touch should be required when throwing to an NFL receiver.

So a WR should be able to catch a 90 MPH fastball from 10 yards away?

Touch is a huge part of playing QB.

NFL QBs throwing to NFL WRs against NFL DEs, NFL DTs, NFL LBs, and NFL DBs... you should give the guy every advantage you can, unless you don't mind losing.
