Monday Night Miracle. Nothing else comes remotely close, not even the playoff win later that season. It's still one of the best moments of the decade (the win over the Bucs), but I've never been so happy to be a Redskin fan over the past decade as I had been on that Monday Night. Some other moments, in no particular order.
- Clinton Portis first run as a Redskin
- The second game against the Cowboys in 2005.
- The return of Joe Gibbs.
- The 6-2 start in 2008
- The trade down with the Falcons in the 2008 draft (the picks made afterwards qualified for one of the worst moments of the decade).
- The resignation of Vinny Cerrato and hiring of Bruce Allen (I'd say give him a noble peace prize, God knows he meets all the criteria plus the murder rate in DC is expected to drop over the course of the next year.)
- The 2005 and 2007 playoff runs
- Blocking the last minute field goal from Dallas in 2006.
-10 men on the field.
- Gibbs challenging 12 men on the field against the Vikings in 2007.
Worst Momement - Loosing to the Cowboys on Thanksgiving when Danny Wurfel was the QB. I've never felt so hopeless and embarrassed as a Redskin fan. Come to think of it the loss to Detroit this year was pretty close. Off the field though the answer is easily the death of Sean Taylor.

Among the worst on the field moments was that horrible 2001 MNF game against the Cowboys when we blew the lead on a Davis fumble. And Suisham's missed field goal after a great special teams play against Seattle which turned the tide in what should have been a playoff win for us

I really wanted to put this as my worst moment... because Sean Taylor was still heavy on my mind watching this game... and we looked like garbage for 3 quarters, then just exploded for 14 points before you could even blink (Moss's TD where he put up the 21 Salute is one of my favorite Skins' moments of all time, I mean the emotion you could feel in my basemetn with everyone watching the game right there was surreal, never had anything like it)...then we had the feild goal play and we were going in to win... and as soon as Suisham missed that, you could just feel it was over.. then we got blown out. Its hard to back it up based on the score being 21 points, but if he makes that, we win the game, we beat Dallas. There is not a doubt in my mind. I dont know that we would have won the NFC Championship or Super Bowl, but alot of my hatred for Suisham comes from that miss and the fact that I think it was so much more than 3 points.

Best Moment: Too many, Moss's 2 Touchdowns to beat Dallas in the Monday Night Miracle, Sean Taylor's touchdown against Philly, the blocked Field goal was great too against Dallas.
Worst Moment: Losing to the Bucs with a 13-0 halftime lead 14-13 which would of put us in the NFC Championship. I actually cried after losing that game when we botched the 52 yard attempt to win it. Ahh that game still hurts.
Lucky for me, while I was a big Redskins fan at the time and pretty devistated by the feild goal miss, I was not as attached as I am right now (probaboly cause I was still playing football at the time and had that to worry about)... but man if we did that today... I dont know if I'd be able to watch football again.

:laughing2 Ha-ha. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Man it is so hard to explain that feeling when it was announced Gibbs was coming back. It was like, finally, all this pain of being embarrassed and losing to the Cowgirls every year is over. It was relief and exhilaration wrapped up in one. :food-smil

No particular order...
Best:
- Gibbs' return.
- Ring of Horror game.
- Beating the Giants (eventual champs) in the Meadowlands with Todd Collins sending us on a roll to the playoffs in 2007. One of the gutsiest wins after the ST fiasco.
- Gibbs' challenge and the Vikes game in 2007.
- ST and the Eagles game in 2005.
- Bucs playoff game in 2005.
- Blocked kick Dallas game in 2006.
- Portis' opening run.
- Beating Dallas and Philly back-to-back on the road in 2008.
- Cerrato's resignation.
Worst:
- Gibbs' retirement.
- ST's death.
- The Buffalo game.
- Los dropping the sure pick-6 in the 1st Seattle playoff game.
- Suisham missing the field goal in the 2nd Seattle playoff game.
- 2001 debacle with Dallas when Davis fumbled. One of the ugliest games ever.
- 45-12 drubbing to Giants in 2009.
- Loss to Lions in 2009.
- The Dallas game in 2003 when Spurrier and Roy Williams almost killed Ramsey.
Note - I didn't include the Bucs playoff loss cuz it was part of the 90s but that was pretty bad. Still haven't forgiven the Turk brothers or Norv. One more first down and we make that field goal and go to the NFC championship, but Norv played it like a wimp.

Best: Blocked field goal by Troy Vincent, return by Sean Taylor, and the winning field goal made by Nick Novak against the Cowboys. I almost had a heart attack.
Worst: Sean Taylor's passing...I remember being half asleep and feeling like I was punched in the stomach when I heard the news.
Worst On-Field: The beating we got from New England when f'ing Belichick ran up the score on us.
