Haynesworth Appreciation Thread

Unlike Haynesworth, they weren't 350 pounds. Both of them were great players (Butz is one of my favorite Redskins), but I suspect it would have been difficult to stay on the field constantly if they were as big as AH.

As good as they were, I doubt they were going against as big of linemen as there are today either. Put someone like Suh beside AH, someone where he can't be double and triple teamed all the time and I bet you see a difference.

Are you kidding me w/ this silly thread??? AH takes so many damn plays off it's not even funny. He's lazy, he's not in shape, he showed up out of shape and it's carried on all through the season and it shows up in his play. Who cares if he slugs a guy when D. Hall is fighting? That's not leadership! It's stupid cause you just got 15 yards. If your fat ass was a leader then you'd get in D. Hall's face and tell him to stop fighting and ball! Haynesworth is the kind of guy you can't win with cause your highest paid guy needs to be a leader by example....aka Reggie White. This fat ass is a joke and I don't care if I get flamed.

How can you say that when he obviously made a significant difference in our pass rush this year? The guy is an absolute presence and if he wasn't double teamed half the time you would see how effective he really is. 53 said it right if you asked an opposing team if they wanted him in or out against them what do you think they would say?

Let me ask you something 69. Do you think we're better without him? Do you think he has anything to do with having a better pass rush this year? Do you think other teams would rather play us with him...or without him?

We're better w/out him. The defense was better last year. Yes we're getting more sacks but that's cause of Orakpo. AH will make a great play and then he loafs the next 5 plays cause he has no stamina. What do you think guys like Griff and Goldston think looking at this dude always come out the game yet he makes 10 times what they do? Sorry but give me two guys that hustle at half his price. I would've brought in Tank Johnson.

Then why does our defense suck? If the pass rush is so damn good then why do we constantly give up long pass plays? Where was the pass rush last night? I don't give a damn about beating up Oakland or Tampa bay or STL. We need that pass rush to beat the NYG.

It's damn sure not because of AH. You can't really believe that AH taking KG or AM's spot is what has caused this defense to decline. There's a lot more to it than that, like our secondary sucking ass most of this season. All the talk about Landry missing tackles, Rogers biting on double moves and you're going to blame AH? What I'm saying is he hasn't made the defense better. He's not dominating. He makes a nice play here and there but he not making a difference cause again he has no stamina. Reggie White made a difference and for the money he's making I want someone like Reggie White.
