Sorry--I wasn't being clear. I agree with you, but I think that the players actually don't want Zorn to stay. They just say that in interviews because it's the professional thing to do.

Players favoring a softer coach is more of a college phenomenon. I think NFL players want coaches who will help them win, and being a hardass is perfectly fine as long as it helps them win. Just look at Tom Coughlin.

I am not sure about that Zorny. The only coach that was even semi tough on the players in the post Gibbs I era, well was Gibbs himself. THis team shows no character at all, no desire to go all out for 60 minutes. That is a lazy unprofessional attitude. Look at the pathetic Browns, they keep trying and they are like us, no hopes for the playoffs. At least they have some pride and also appreciate the support from the great Cleveland fans and their Dawg Pound. The losing itself gives the players something to fall back on anymore. IF they win great, if not, well it is almost expected, hence our beloved team's fall into the pit of mediocrity. Either way they get their overbloated paychecks for NON PERFORMANCE.

Yes, since we need more inexperience players

We have lots of "experienced" players on our team. We've had them for years.

Hasn't amounted to much.

Does Cooley's trade value dip significantly coming off of injury?

Yes...enough that he won't be tradable or any type of real value.

OK we are rebuilding anyway right? Cooley and Davis won't work well together. We need more picks, IMO it would be good to trade him

I agree here...

But unless we can get a real high second or a first and something else good, I'm not trading Cooley.

Thats not because I dont love Cooley either, but if we have a real good tight end in Davis and can fill one of these thousands of holes we have, I just feel like we have to do it... It'd hurt to trade that guy though.

Lets face it the giants own the redskins and nothing still has not changed. They play us and know they are going to win.
