With the Elections coming up very soon I wanted to pass along one trivia fact about the Redskins and Elections.

When the Redskins WIN the week before the National Elections the Incombant President stays in Office.

If the Redskins lose the week before the Elections the Challenger takes over the Oval Office.

Now who are you cheering for against the Packers?

Have a great off week guys.

This is one loss I can easily stomach if the trend continues!

It's a little more specific than that.

If the Skins win the home game prior to the election, the incumbant party stays in office. This has held true for the past 15 presidential elections.

LOL. I think this is the part where someone is supposed to step in and say "Howdy Doody already is in office", but it won't be me ;)

I've never cheered against the skins in my life and I sure as hell wouldn't do it over an election where neither of the 2 candidates should really be in the position to be president in the first place. I seriouslly hope there aren't any skins fans here who would actually cheer for the skins to lose even if we were 2-11 or something similar and the season was practically over.

If somehow the Skins are cosmically linked to the outcome of the presidential elections I guess for the good of the country the Skins will have to take a loss. ;)

I'd like to see this streak end with the Skins and Kerry both winning.
