I hear you and I was thinking yesterday if I am down by 10 or less Davis is the safer bet. If I am down by more then 10 then Moss, Moss at least has the chance at a bomb play where Davis is going to nickle and dime it all night long.
I can see the Giants putting the squeeze on Davis but they really don't have the personally to stop him and if they limit him I just need like two catches for 10 yards.
Davis IMO is JC's favorite traget right now.
I would agree Davis is the favorite target...you really cant go wrong with either one since you just need a couple points. Good luck

Take the gamble and go with Thomas, Davis is too easy of a choice.

Here are your facts:
The starting TE for the Redskins (Cooley before he got hurt, Davis afterwards) has scored at least 3.0 fantasy points (1 point per 10 yards, 6 per TD, 0 per reception) 10 out of 13 weeks. Santana Moss has scored at least 3.0 points (same system) 11 out of 13 weeks.
Here's scoring by week:
Davis/Cooley
*1 12.80 (giants)
*2 8.30
*3 3.80
*4 12.50
*5 0
*6 5.70
*7 2.10
8 bye
9 2.60
*10 5.00
*11 2.40
12 10.30
13 11.30
14 17.00
Moss
1 0.60 (giants)
*2 3.50
*3 23.80
*4 13.40
*5 4.40
*6 4.20
*7 7.40
*8 -
*9 4.70
*10 0.80
*11 3.80
*12 8.80
*13 6.80
*14 5.80
Conclusion: either one should do the trick but Davis has the hotter hand. Moss had a sub 3 point game against the Giants back in week 1, while Cooley scored 13.
Go with the TE.

Davis is the best chance for 3 points...maybe if you needed a big night Moss would be the choice. I am playing against Fred Davis tonight...but with a 27 point lead.

I get a point for each reception. Guess that would bump their avg.

Fred Davis is the safe choice. He is Campbell's primary target in the Red Zone. One touchdown and you win!
I'm also in the semi-finals in my fantasy league. I'm in a good position. I'm down by one point but I have Santana Moss, Redskin defense and Lawrence Tynes playing tonight and my opponent has Steve Smith. Hopefully Steve Smith will have a horrible night.

For three points, you got to go Davis...Especially if its point per reception...unless he fumble or something, I dont see how he doesnt hit that.

Ok I am down two points going into tonights game. The other guy is done he has no one left to play.
I can either start Fred Davis, Devin Thomas, or S. Moss.
Who should I start??????
This will get me in the finals which gtd's me at last $200 (2nd place prize).
Fred Davis...no doubt.
but why do you have Thomas and Moss. Neither is really what you call a fantasy jugernaut??

Just my bench, Moss I drafted in like the 8th round and Thomas I picked up when Slaton went down for the year.
A lot of times I keep folks on my bench to keep from other teams taking them and for match up purpose and also generally laziness of not clearing them out.
