This is complete and utter bullshit if this is true.
No it is not. The interview with Jerry Gray was complete and utter bullshit on Gray and Snyder's part.

I'm still not 100% on Zimmer. I mean I think that may play out for a while while Zimmer sees what other opportunities may be out there
Kyle Shanahan for sure, he'll be on board probably at the end of the month
If not Kyle then maybe Jerry Gray. Gray and Mike's kid Kyle are both UT graduates and Gray is very big into the Austin thing. Could it be something to the Gray interview for DC as opposed to HC, or perhaps even another interview?

I sure hope Zimmern comes here, plus doesn't he sort of look like Shanahan?

My understanding is that it's more of a request than a requirement, since Gray was interviewed when Cerrato was in charge and now Allen is in charge.
However, I think the bigger issue is that whatever the Redskins did they clearly checked with the Fritz Pollard Alliance and got its blessing but maybe didn't quite check with the NFL league offices. It's a bit surprising if they didn't do that. But if that is the case, it still strikes me as a bit odd that the FPA said it was fine.

Pretty much what the RI is refering to:Redskins Insider - Report: Redskins must interview Gray again (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/jason-reid/report-redskins-must-interview.html)

Ok I'm officially pissed. It was my understanding the Fing NFL informed them the interview was carried out legally. I understand the interview was BS. If I was Gray I wouldn't feel comfortable interviewing for a job that is not vacant and I still work for the man. However "IF" the NFL did say it was ok, how can they decide to change the rules all of a sudden? Pier pressure? Fans and media around the league get to them so they decide to tell DS to conduct another interview? Now that's BS also.
I just wish for once the Fing NFL would get their itshay together and decide the correct answer prior to making a decision. Then you don't have to change it every time.

ESPN just sent out a text that the Skins plan to fire Zorn tomorrow. I guess for the rest of the country this may be considered breaking news...

Where does Kubiack fit it?
According to pft, mort said the league is requiring the skins to interview a minority candidate again after Zorn is fired. This could delay things or create problems if no minority candidates agree to a sham interview. At this point, jerry likely knows he won't be retained in any capacity so I don't know what motivation he has to interview again.
Apparently they got that from ESPN and ESPN has since backed off those comments. Shannahan should be ready to be announced tomorrow.
